Apk mirror is the easiest place to find it. It's better than all these webwrappers and it's only around 1mb.
Tried it a few days, not a fan of web based Facebook wrappers. Feel too slow for my liking, for e.g. when loading comments.
I held off using any form of fb messenging apps until this week. Before this, I had to resort to using my laptop as m.facebook.com is unusable on mobile for messenging. Was using mbasic.facebook.com but that is painful. On tablet (Android) they have disabled the keyboard so you can't reply, just read. Most of my friends use WhatsApp but there are a few groups on fb that prefer Messenger.
Ended up going with the Metal app and it is working ok. Seems to just wrap the website which is all I need. Will grab this app in case Metal ends up giving me ads or doesn't work out.
Don't want to use Messenger Lite as I still haven't enabled the Facebook Platform and refuse to put any of fb's apps on my devices. I haven't given them my mobile # so they can't link me to my WhatsApp account for better data profiling. Tin foil hat level maybe, but gotta keep em guessing.

I had terrible issues with messenger with my note 4 and this app is a brilliant alternative I find it works well.
Facebook app doesnt cause battery drain. But i like this app more. I use facebook less often now which is a good!

Ah, I like these Facebook alternative apps.
Anyone know if this is better than "Friendly"? Using that at the moment.
There used to be Swipe for Facebook which was quite good but has been usurped by a lot of these alternatives - I feel like they haven't updated in a while.
