Connect your drone to PC/MAC using the USB cable. It connects like a USB with a folder
Copy the downloaded file into the root folder generated by Drone (USB folder like). For Mac simply copy the downloaded file to the USB disk it generates.
Your Drone will blink for a few seconds and then turns GREEN… WALLA!!!

Do you know how to turn the drone off? When pressing the power button mine keeps making weird sounds.
Has anyone else had a product that appeared to have been opened, used, returned or not in the box at all? I purchased two for gifts - one I'll give next month, the other for a relo later in the year.
Given some of the reports above, I'm a little worried about whether it will be all good. It will be very embarrassing if it's not working or not in there, but I'm a little reluctant to open the box to check!
Same here, purchased 2 for gifts for later in the year.
One box seem ok and sealed.
The other clearly has been opened, no way it could be gifted so I'm planning to return it.
I am also having second thoughts about gifting them now…
In your sealed box, did something in there slide around? Could just be instructions but not sure!
Bought 3. 2 of the 3 had been opened and looked beaten up. Unsuitable for gifts.
The app is a pain to use. Took a while for me to figure it out.

Pretty cool when it's connected, sooo hard to get connected :/ power button seems pretty non responsive, takes about 10 minutes to finally get it giving it's wifi signal.
And yet this post got much upvote for practically defective product.
Yeah I hear you. It has connected much better over the last few plays, doesn't help when your phone is trying to latch onto other wifi. I think for $49 (or $59 for the ones still for sale) it's pretty good value, driving is really responsive and image quality is what you can expect for that price. If there is a better option for $49 out there I'd be keen to see it. Had I paid the $290 on the original sticker, or the $149 on the 'sale' sticker that was on my box, I'd be spewing.
I'm hesitant to recommend to others given the manual firmware update I had to do and the recordings being in some weird codec .mov, however overall, I'm not complaining.
The one I got had the power button faulty and require recharge each time before use. How do u switch off the drone btw?
