I was interested but the reviews on SCA site suggest it's only good for smaller bikes.
450kg bike! I thought my 214 kg is a bit heavy :-)
How does this solve the storage space problem? If anything it increases the problem as now you have a stupid dolly too and your bike is an extra 6" higher off the ground.
The idea, I think, is you can turn the bike in a small space….but your right… there's other ways to turn your bike in a small area without this.
Side stand swing is probably one way, as every bike has a side stand. Some bikes don't take kindly to the old side stand swing. Or it is impossible to do - like for bikes which have the side stand a fair way forward of the centre of the bike.
It is to aid in manoeuvring the bike into a tight spot.
I've had one of these with my sports bike ..(Fireblade CBR900) It was great to manoeuvre the bike bike to the end of the shed so I could fit the car in as well. I'm not sure how it would go with a heavier bike though..the Blade was about 200Kg and you still had to use some oomph to move it. It's good value at $99 if you have a need for it..
So you ride this like a skateboard?
