doubt anyone will buy a unit without bluetooth these days.

  • Does this come with tools for fitting?

    • Trust me - I bought a Sony player very similar to this and I had trouble connecting it - I had to approach a prof thru Gumtree and he charged $50..Its not so easy as you think - it needs to be tested before you put everything back in ..

      • Someone managed to break into my car and remove the stereo a couple of times a while back without too much difficulty; I thought from this that fitting and removing ought to be fairly easy.

Don't worry about the above poster, depending on the car it can be very easy.

Look up your car model and headunit removal/replacement on youtube - chances are there's an instructional video available.

        • @placard: correct. In fact you can get the harness kits from ebay/aliexpress for these for about $5 and hence it becomes a plug and play job.

      • I dont trust you "smiles"….

      • Times must be tough if university professors are installing head units in their spare time just to make ends meet.

        • the professors were sacked from csiro because of their stance on global warming and that clean coal is actually dirty coal ….. now they install car audio between jobs…….

  • Also check eBay - you could possibly get a player with Bluetooth for additional $10 or $15 - I would buy that instead
