Edit: Add data share SIM for $5 per month. (To share data allowance with an ipad/tablet).

Deal looks strikingly like family and friends offer that expired 30 June, but now for business customers. (Available to new and recontracting customers taking up a new service). Those of us who need to stick to business plans (to share data, and free intra-account calls) usually miss out, so I thought I'd share this.

  • Its funny that you got the Apple music thumbnail on there, I don't think business plans come with the 6 months Apple music trial

    • It doesn't

  • what's a btl offer?

Below The Line, and apparently that means by invitation only, which I don't get as it's on their website, and Telstra was keen to sign me up via chat today. I just googled it, so really not sure.

How many people can you share data with?

I'm the only data user in the family. Putting the whole family on this could be cost effective, and we'd be on a better network.

Hmm how long does it take to get an ABN? :/

    • +1

unlimited people that are on the same ABN billing

it takes about 15min online to get an ABN (google search how to do it)

you can upgrade all personal Telstra plans onto the business equivalent when you have an ABN

  • "Available to new and recontracting customers taking up a new service"

So it's only available if I take a new number?

    • +2

I was on a casual business plan and could sign up using my existing number. So if you are out of contract on your business number you can keep it. Not sure of other circumstances though.

this deal is basically a free phone for being on a 24month contract.

it is $90 per month for a sim only 25GB plan.

and then you might be able to use this ( https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/318394 ) deal with as you will qualify because you have a new 24month contract

    Neat plan.
Samsung's phone makes the most sense, despite brand preferences. Newer with current best resale price and sixty-four gigs plus expandable memory in addition to being 5G ready. If you respect the brand then score. If you don't then you can sell it and put the money down on the plan.
Suppose you flog it for $800:
    $800 /contract length (24) = $33.3
    $90 - $33.33 = $56.67

    Rounded-up $57 P/M enables:
    25GB
    Unlimited Talk/Text +(10 Countries)
    On non-wholesale Telstra 4G

    Super neat post, JSS.

Edit- Well, I don't work for Telstra or any company that remotely benefits from this but i got a +VE warning for association? The heck.

  • difference between this plan and this one?
