BIG difference, the cheapo ones usually have tons of issues of disconnecting or dont meet the current standards of Australian ADSL, these ones are worth every cent, this is bargain imo
I have a Dynalink splitter (Came free with modem) and a Dick Smith branded one (aid $20+ for it), is this likely to be much better?

What's the difference between the inline filter and the central one?
Why can you just use the cheaper 'inline' filter and then split your telephone output after the filter ???

I've already got two of these.
I used to use the Billion splitter that came with my modem. Connection speeds were around 3,900kbps.
Now I get around 4,100kbps. So around 5% improvement in connection speed.
These are the best line filters avaliable

just a quick question is there any difference between splitters, expensive ones vs the cheap 2 dollar ones?
