    Hide and seek hey. Where is the hide and seek receiver where I can shove the stupid box of amps out of sight and have a basic display and controls sitting on my entertainment unit. Not interested in having to use some phone app to change the volume.

    There was a Bose lifestyle system like this a few years ago.

      This is a speaker pack only, you use this with a receiver of your choice. says nothing about using a phone to control.

        yes indeed. Mine is more a rant about how the only form factor for the receiver, to drive these speakers of you like, is a stupid big box. One can buy dozens of brands of sub/sat speakers to have a discrete install but when it comes to driving them you get everything except discrete.
