Hoyts Kiosk (& Video Ezy) generally get movies early than streaming services and also have more choice. For those of us who don't pirate this amounts to a bargain. I don't consider theft a bargain.
If you use Foxtel box office:
They charge $6.95 to rent a HD new release (plus all other associated costs and set up) .https://www.foxtel.com.au/support/tv/how-to-use/store-box-of…
SO 3 HD Foxtel box office movies would be $20.85 v $9. So is a bargain.
Also for me I get kids dvds for the head rest dvd player, streaming onto a tablet would eat data on my plan so I prefer DVDs.you can rent and return to any HOYTS Kiosk location,so these are good for road trips. 3 dvds is enough for a trip to Melbourne.
My local video ezy kiosk has them $3 each everyday and $1 on Tue. Cheaper with codes.
This isn't a bargainjv you just got owned.
Not everyone has a local video ezy kiosk. Not everyone has a Hoyts either, that doesn't make it a bargain.
@jv: it does make it a bargain for those who only have hoyts
I agree with JV. For Hoyts Kiosk it's normally 3.99 each rental, so it's a 25% off, which doesn't qualify as a bargain on Ozbargain
Especially when there are free codes most weeks
thanks OP
Cheaper at ViseoEzy kiosks
JV you already tried making your point once and failed. Quit it..
Cute isn't he :)
Normal price is $3.99 each locally, so it's $9 down from $12
However, compared to the VideoEzy deals (none this week?), this is poor. All it does is reduce the price to the undiscounted level elsewhere.
Probably would need to be 3 for $6 to register, and even then …
Normal price is $3.99 each locall
You can hirer DVDs cheaper than that, so not a bargain.
I don't have a video ezy kiosk near me, so I rent from Hoyts, so YES this is a bargain
How is that a bargain ???
