  • Sorry from JB Hi-Fi for $1189.15 added but accept title and deleted the extra info, can the Mod please add. thanks

  • $1189.15 in the title please

    • Sorry. You are faster than me

  • Can @tightarse do better direct from Lenovo??

  • This just has the Intel HD only GPU?

  • You'd think for a thin and light the weight would be good information to provide…
From Lenovo website: Starting at 1.25 kg

  • '$50 giftcard with whiskas cat food deal' - please explain? Linkie?

  • does this comes with Lenovo active pen ?

  • Wondering if the ssd can be changed?

    • i asked, no it can't. cause i was wondering if you could put in a larger size, the guy said no.

  • Couldn't recommend this machine when you can get a proper thinkpad for about the same price on sale.
My 2cents says avoid this unless it goes sub $1k
The Thinkpad Yoga 460 is generally better all round as far as build goes and about the same on specs.
If the sale is especially good you'll also get a GTX940M graphics chip.

For anyone wanting to install their own SSD, i'd assume you could, but they will say you can't.
It won't be behind a readily accessible hatch like notebooks past, it will involve properly opening up the chassis.
In the case of the Yoga 460 it's pretty easy.

Looks like the Yoga 460 is absent from the site now.
Comment still stands, avoid the non thinkpad machines.
Wait for a Thinkpad on special, often available at around this price point.

    • Thinkpad Yoga 460 is only skylake, it's about 5mm thicker, and doesn't have usb c drives or thunderbolt.

      I'd go the yoga 720

      • Nice machine, but not really comparable though either in build or price.
The 13.3" 720 of almost comparable but still lesser specs is MORE THAN double the price the Yoga 460 was selling for.
Kaby brings almost nothing to the table, so that doesn't help.
The Yoga 460 is sold under the thinkpad name, this typically means premium business grade gear made to a higher standard than their other lines.
If i were buying a machine to take places i'd go something under the Thinkpad name every time.
For other uses the other yoga machines are probably fine, and do appear to have a more recent touch to them.
Sad though that the Y460 is no longer for sale.
An i7-6series with intel 940M, 8 GB of ram and a 1440p deisplay (overkill from experience) for under ~$1k smashes the 720's lesser build, nil discrete GPU, 1080p $2k price tag.
If you didn't need the robustness of the Thinkpad line and the 720 came down in a really good special it might win now only being the 460 has not been updated and is no longer available, but personally i'd be looking at other machines in the thinkpad line.
