  • Targeted?

Got the Avis deal on Platinum Edge - Primary cardholder only.

Thanks OP need to hire a car in August.

  • Has anyone split an Avis payment before?

Also given AMEX cashback 'stringency' in past deals do you think I could go into an AVIS store this week and fully pay for an international booking? That way it is paid in store at a participating store but I pickup the car overseas in August?

      I've done it with budget.

Unlikely … from what I've seen with rental companies in Australia, it's difficult enough for them to transfer credit between branches in Australia, let alone internationally.

    • Has anyone split an Avis payment before?

      yes iirc

      don't forget 5.6% Cashrewards

also AWD J228399 and Holiday Pass

      :)

      • How does holidaypass work?
It appears to need a login.
Also, do you know the details for AWD J228399 (searched on Ozbargain but couldn't find anything)?

        • sorry, forgot to mention that the password is monash since you didn't search the www :)

      • Hi Tonester: did you try that and how much is the holiday pass discount? I experimented booking from World Square AVIS shop starting 9am 29th Sep and End: 4.30pm 1st Oct (Sun). I noticed that with Entertainment book, the price is down to $230 from almost $300 for a group H car and down to $473 from $600 for a group V car. I am curious if the holiday pass would provide any higher discount.

There's also a $20 + free delivery signup bonus … it's a pity that the ezibuy website is crap. I like stacking all the deals.

    • On signup for new accounts?

      • Yup - Only need a new email for a new account.

  • Thanks EC & Spooker. Quality looks low with most of their stuff but rolled the dice on a Bomber Jacket and some Chino's down from $133 to $31 delivered after stacking.

    BWS25 25% off offer excludes:
Full priced styles, NEXT, gift cards ect.

The spend $40 and get $20 off PLUS free standard delivery also excludes NEXT but it worked for me:

    https://www.ezibuy.com/shop/au/sign-up-offer-terms

It added standard postage of $9.90 until the final stages of checkout where it is removed.

    • How to stack codes? I was unable to do this.

      • Not the two codes (was just highlighting T+C's). The $20 off signup offer stacks nicely with the $20 Amex credit offer. For example: A $60 cart comes down to $40 with free postage then you get another $20 back from Amex and are only out of pocket $20.

        • Thanks makes sense.

Great deal, thanks for the share. Used the Ezibuy one and created an account for $20 + free delivery.

They had 30% off 3 items on the Michelle Bridges range of active wear so worked out even cheaper. In the end, I got for the wife 2 pairs of leggings, 2 tanks and a jacket for $65 then minus $20 new account with the $20 AMEX credit works out at $25.

    Happy wife, happy life

  • Is the deal working with Ezibuy egift card purchase?

    • I bought $200 in gift cards a few months ago, when amex had a similar offer … I'm still trying to get through them …

      • A few months?! I will take it as a "no" then …

        • I will take it as a "no" then …

Huh? Buying gift cards will work fine…

        • @sp00ker: Oh so if we spend $40 to buy Ezibuy egift card, we will still get $20 back?

        • @DealWatcher27:

          Yes

My point was, the website is crap … it's difficult to spend money there.

        • @DealWatcher27:
From Amex, most likely. However gift cards are excluded from Ezibuys signup offer so you can't double dip. I struggled to find anything I thought was good even when I was spending $40 of Amex's and Ezibuys money on already discounted items with free shipping. If you can't find something you like now, gift cards may not be a good idea as Spooker has pointed out.

  • Thanks for deal mate

  • The deal requires the car to be returned before end of Aug. Is there a way to book now for a trip which ends 1st Oct and still get the cash back? Thanks.

  • Picked up a Leather Jacket for $89 from ezibuy instead of $169! Thanks Opening Post! Been looking for one for a while!

    • BTW I phoned Ezibuy and they let me use multiple gift cards in the one transaction. Hence getting the discount. I am kicking myself a little as I could have got more of a discount if I used all the tricks of the trade!

      Oh well!

Has anyone successfully ordered an ezibuy gift card and got cashback 👍🏻

    • I'm sure you can, but you shouldn't need to as you can do separate credit card payments by phoning up the 1800 number.

  • BWS25 code has expired.
