I got this for $480 about 2 years ago. I quite like it, but I dont feel like the curve does anything for it. However at $240. I think it is decent.
Bought it with a 10% off coupon for $224 for the olds, they can only do 1080p anyway. It's not a bad buy, but it's not a mega deal either.
Many don't have the lofty expectations of us ozbargainers ;). Personally, I think it's a reasonable deal and the expectations on here of a $236 monitor are a little unfair ;p
With that said, it's just not as good as last week, 653 laptops sold in like 20 minutes and apparently the QC35's sold out in 4 minutes (missed buying a pair, so cannot confirm).12,000 viewed it in the first 34mins if you believe eBay stats.
But only 112 odd had purchased. Hardly a mover, I thought @8:35pm.
By 9:25 only 169 (55%) were sold.
From 9:25-9:40 noone bought one, even though the deal persists. And it's now down to 6422 viewing 'per hour' so clearly there were a lot of trigger happy people out there prepared to try a curved screen out.
Unless they were all Amazon bots. Regardless, expect quite few to be offered 'fully tested' and BNIB next week!

Nope, I don't think they existed back then. But they are 1440P IPS/PLS, one is overclockable and both going strong for years on the old 7970.
The thought of 1080p on this size monitor is like when you watch an old 4:3 TV show from the 90's on a brand new TV.
