for this price, you might as well buy 49" samsung

    • I don't want a curved monitor, it's way too large for my desk and I need 60W power delivery via USB-C.
I don't think this does PD via USB-C or of it does they don't give you the power rating (most are 15W).
The USB-C Specs on the webpage are confusing:
      USB Hub
      No

      USB-C
      No

      USB-C Upstream Port (ONLY DATA)
      1

      USB Type-C Downstream Port
      2

      USB Type-C Downstream Version
      3.2 Gen1

DisplayHDR True Black 400 is not the same as DisplayHDR 400. Better to just remove it from the title.

The latter is a very low bar, the former is designed to highlight how OLED performs remarkably differentially in real world content despite low 100% white brightness.

  • Glossy or matte screen I wonder?

    • According to this guy its glossy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN3V3gFYJkI&t=4s

It has arrived. Screen is glossy but not overly so.
My office has lots of natural light but I'm not getting blinded by refections.
It is VERY nice, big upgrade from my previous monitor (which was also pretty good).
      Price has dropped ($1,499.00) again!

      • Still loving it? I'm still on the fence, as I hate glossy screens. It will be in a dark room for now, but not necessarily forever. Have you set up kvm and had any of the reported issues?

  • Yeah, is great. I'm not a big fan of glossy screens but I'd have to say it's not that glossy. My office has west and north facing windows so it can cop a LOT of light. But I don't notice any reflections on the screen. I haven't set up the KVM, I have two computers connected to the screen but my mouse and keyboard connect to one computer via Bluetooth so I'm not sure how I would set it up.

  • If the mouse and keyboard came with and connect via a usb blutooth dongle you would put the dongle in the monitor. l would guess that being the only way… Not sure if you can just buy one that connects if they did not come with one.

    • I'm using an MS Surface mouse and keyboard so no dongle unfortunately. This are paired to my Surface Laptop (for work). The gaming PC is running Bazzite (Linux) but has no mouse or keyboard attached.

      • Hey, in when theres light hitting the monitor do you notice a red/purple tint on the blacks?

        • Not that I've noticed. I now have 5 devices with OLED screens and this is as good as any. TBH I don't pay that much attention.

          • @MayhemVC: mine arrived today. Had it in my cart and coupon entered and the deal ran out after midnight on on Tuesday. Still managed to get it with the discount at about 12.05. Back to $2,899.00 with a coupon now.

          • @MayhemVC: Can you update the firmware on this? Seems like it is broken and hp support have gone silent.
