a cheap way to entertain kids. Better to spend $10 then $100 on the latest Cars 3 toy that lasts 5mins before it is either broken or at the bottom of the Toy Box.

mine has the best bearing you can get, mine has a Stainless Steel top. Mine is not generic rainbow spinner out of china

how do you determine gearbest's spinner is inferior to yours? considering they don't list the bearing type.

My kids got a couple of these as a gift from "rodgo" at MyFidgetSpinner last week.
They're far better quality then the plastic ones we previously bought online out of china and in our local discount shop.And they were definitely posted from Melbourne as noted by the stamp and postmark on the envelope!

good luck ever receiving it from AliExpress. Takes 10 weeks if you lucky so save yourself the $1.45 discount and buy local.
aliexpress is an awesome buying market. out of the 650 orders I have placed only 2 have not arrived. delivery time is 3-6 weeks.

Look pal, OzBargain is about getting the cheapest deal. Aliexpress doesn't take anywhere near 10 weeks for an order to arrive. From my experience, all my orders have arrived in the past ~3-5 weeks, from at least 70 independent sellers.
As altomic also mentioned, your idea of buying local is pretty much buying in bulk from China and selling mark up because you ship from Australia.

Yes businesses that buy from China have to mark things up, apologies but thats how business works. Overheads, Taxes, buying of stock. You could start a business and sell at cost if that works for you but thats not reality sorry. Good luck with your Alibaba Importing, hope it works out well for you.
