A toaster from a simpler time when gravity lowered the bread & springs raised up the golden toast.
The kettle has the worst design lid ever. It is so hard to remove the lid that i now just fill it from the spout. Dont buy this kettle.
Only plus side for the kettle is that it is quieter than the delonghi iconic and maybe boils faster.
But the lid is the worst, ive bruised my hand from opening that f**ken lid.
Be warned!

I can't stand companies that put form over function.
That's why I bought the Kmart kettle for $7.50. It's just function but lasts & works well.
And no gimmicks, unlike my Breville kettle.
Some genius thought a bell that rattles when the kettle turns off is a good idea.
Great in theory, but it also rattles as you carry, pour or bump it.

Now there was a product with a gimmick as well as spawning a catch-phrase Saved by the bell (according to some people). Can there be better marketing than that?

Read reviews on this. Looks like the kid is super crap and the handle design is hard to use and causes steam to burn your hand. No wonder they're going cheap.

Toaster is great :) Kettle is scary.
The toaster looks like it's the same as the Vegemite one from this competition which says it's valued at $249, so assuming the non-Vegemite version here is sold for $199, the 75% off claim is right.
Either way, with the Marc Newson design and the Vegemite competition, they're really selling themselves as Australian but it looks like they began in the US, so it's a bit of a marketing ploy.
Picked a toaster up today. Was going to spend 68 on the weekend but decided to wait and as luck would have it it's reduced again! This toaster is great! Looks great too. I press the button and behold my toast mechanically decends into a firey hell and is perfectly even. It's sounds robotic and has LEDs It's all high tech for 49.95 this toaster is well worth the money. Really happy. I Took a look at the kettle, worst kettle ever probably a death trap.

When I read motorised toaster I was thinking it was like the ones at breakfast buffets at hotels. I left disappointed 😥
