This is bullshit. I actually contacted Digidirect pointing out that the deal does not apply to the fdr-x300r! Note the "r" on the end of the model designation; that indicates that this is the live view remote kit. The deal does apply to the fdr-x3000. Ebay had a 15% discount a while ago, and I could have got one for $604 (the live view remote kit), but I was still reviewing
You sure you can claim the $100 EFTPOS gift card? Terms and condition says ebay sales are not eligible. Last week there was one from nofrills/ryda, and I got confirmation from seller that $100 can't be claimed.
To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase either outright or with retailer finance (lay-by and purchases from duty-free, eBay, parallel import stores and second hand retailers excluded) an Eligible Camera Body or Eligible Camera Lens (defined below) from a participating Sony Australia authorised dealer
