    need a good 2500/3000kg jack…

    • +4

What size truck do you have?

  • Combine with an ebay sale like I did for my battery last week.

    • So if Autobarn says 30% off batteries - the ebay price will also reduce, and then we can combine with an ebay code?

      • +1

That's what I did for my SuperCharge GoldPlus MF51 last week. Got an extra 10% off on top of the sale price.

It was great because it was the first battery I've changed by myself, and the mechanics wanted $220 but I got it done in ~5-10 mins for $140 :)

        • Are there any ebay promo codes on at the moment though?

        • @placard: Not sure but there may be on Saturday. I was actually surprised to see they had an eBay store, then surprised to see it had sale prices, THEN surprised to see they had click and collect!!

    • Nah can't. Need a seperate code for 25% off.

  • Click and Collecting my car battery (that I need so badly) because I'm at work that day :'(

Note that Costco might still be cheaper.

      • +3

I think costco is still cheaper. Ordered the Calcium type battery which is usually the premium range and more expensive than the usual car battery. They charged me $115 for the Exide Extreme X60CPMF. Had to special order it in though, as they don't usually stock the Extreme Range, but they stock i think it was called performance or endurance range for like $80.

      • Yeah possibly but OzBargain recommended Supercharge so I'm gonna get a Supercharge one (40 month warranty!)

    Any motor cycle oil?

    • Just use Diesel oil - I've been running my bike on Penrite HPR 15 Diesel for the past 5+ years.

Any non-friction modified oil is most likely suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches. Don't use Petrol engine oil.

      • I agree that most oils without friction modifiers will most likely work fine in a motorbike, but I do doubt that oil specifically designed for diesel engines will be better than oil specifically designed for motorcycles when being used in a motorcycle.

The Penrite HPR Gas 10 is designed for motorcycles and is about the same price as the Penrite HPR 15 Diesel.

    • Penrite full synthetic is good. Should be around $40-50/4L

  • so can it be 25% off and 30% off (total 55% off) on oil prices?

    • +1

      You are funny

    • +3

I doubt it stacks? won't be 55% in any case

    • Definitely not but do let us know if you manage to get further than 30% off oil! (Plus the discount would be 47.5% if you did)

can yu bye now for pikup tomoro?

Ya you can say good bye to what you are picking up tomorrow

  • Damn… If only they sold whole cars..

    • 25% off Storewide (use 25OFF code for online)
    • 30% off Engine Oils (prices already reduced online)
    • 30% off Batteries (prices already reduced online)

% off regular ticketed price. Store stock. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

  • I don't think prices have been reduced online yet:

it is the same as before:

    $204.00 for MF75D23L

  • Is their garage tuff tool kit good for simple house/car work?

    • I have bought quite a few things of their Garage Tuff range. I find the Garage Tuff brand to be superior to Repco GVM branded and SCA branded items.
Dunno about sockets though, might be better to upgrade them to a better brand. Old cars with rusty bolts and cheap sockets can be a nightmare.
So it really depends on what you want to do, my tools box is a GVM because it was the best value at the time, SCA has some good stuff when it is in sale.
Total Tools often have good specials on their gear for EOFY, normally they're way over priced.

What are peoples thoughts on this ?
    https://www.autobarn.com.au/garage-tuff-tool-chest-trolley-c…

    Anyone bought one before ?

  • Does anyone know the price for SUPERCHARGE MF75D23L at Costco?

    https://www.autobarn.com.au/supercharge-automotive-battery-g…

    • Do they even sell Supercharge at Costco? I thought they only sold Exide

      • I think your are right only Exide.

  • For a storewide sale at Autobarn, are there any go-to products aside from engine oils and batteries?

I don't usually think about this kind of sale for (as an example) car washes, because you can get better % discounts for targeted product sales.

  • I tried to buy my battery just now, but it's still showing as full price at $175 …

  • Did anyone get the coupon to work? I tried applying it to a Mobil 1 engine oil in the cart but it said "Coupon code 25OFF is not valid.". Am I missing something? It does say on their website that for engine oils, prices have already been reduced online but for the oil I'm adding, the price has been the same for the past 2 months.

    • Didn't work for my battery (not that I needed a code). Might try again at 9. Otherwise I'm gonna have to get my brother to go and buy one for me …

      • +1

        Nope

    • +1

Now I can see the discount applied on the engine oil. Previously it was $83 but now coming up as $58 without even applying the code :)

  • So for batteries prices are already reduced'? I am looking at MF95D31R price $229. Compared to others in Brisbane who sell it for $119 'regular' price. How is that reduced price then? 25OFF and 30OFF do not work.

    • Not that I can see; my battery is still $175 :(

      • +1

EDIT: On Ebay you cannot discount it. Go and buy online from AutoBarn and the price is discounted on checkout for batteries, no need to apply any code. Just did that and got the 30% off. CLick and collect though.

        • +1

Is it? :D OK I try now

I have to Click and Collect as I'm at work :( (Plus can you even deliver car batteries ahahaha)

Edit: Yaaaaay $122.50 for my car battery! My nearest Autobarn stores are showing limited stock so I have to drive a bit further to go and collect it …

  • -1

Coupon code "25OFF" is not valid.

    • +1

Worked for me when I added brake fluid to my cart. It doesn't work for engine oils or batteries as they're already on sale.

  • +1

Awesome deal just got 25% off a whole bunch of final inspection car detailing products at Autobarn Preston

  • +1

Check out the clearance table while you're there for super reductions
Bought a Kincrome boltcutter that was 50% off already plus another 25% off at the checkout
    Bargain!

  • 25% only applies on their own site, can't stack with eBay's 15% deal. guess have to go to Costco for battery now. credit to lplau for the infor.

  • Anyone click and collect from Fairfield NSW?

    • I would have, if they had my battery in stock (had to trek it to Blacktown).

They say on the website that Click and Collect orders are fufilled within four hours of the order being placed; have you not received your ready to collect e-mail?

      • +1

Lucky they didn't have it in stock. I called yesterday and they said there click and collect system isn't working and they can't process any click and collect orders. They said it is only their store as they are a new store. Curious to know if it's BS or true. Also contacted Autobarn via email 2 days ago and have not received a response.

        • Well the new store claim sounds legit judging from my Googling but yeah they should have their systems up and running already.

If they haven't replied to your e-mail, could go all social media like on their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/autobarn/

Edit: But they don't seem to reply to posts … Could try message the Autobarn Fairfield page?
