Fancy round bulbs have been popular for many years in the incandescent 25w and 40w varieties. Now these J&C 2.5w LED bulbs can replace those and provide all the benefits LED has to offer in energy efficiency and long life. The colour reproduction from these bulbs is exceptional with a nice 3000 kelvin warm white colour. Price RRP: $9.95 Sale Price: $4.50

Apologies for that and thank you for the update.
200 lm is really only equivalent to a 21W incandescent:

Only available in Edison, but Ikea already sells 400 lm bulbs for $2.99, so you really should be much cheaper.
Thank you for the reference. Unfortunately, we do not have the buying power of Ikea. We do try our best to clear this stock.
Good luck clearing your stock at a high price.
Thanks, i'll check Ikea…
Is there anyone who can confirm if this table below is any good for comparing equivalents?
Lumens Incandescent Fluorescent
375 lm 25 W 6.23 W
600 lm 40 W 10 W
900 lm 60 W 5 W
1125 lm 75 W 18.75 W
1500 lm 100 W 25 W
2250 lm 150 W 37.5 W
3000 lm 200 W 50 W
(Source: http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/light/lumen-to-watt-calculat…)Cant compare Bayonet to Edison, as not everyone has Edison connections
Doesn't seem that cheap, especially given the occasional Phillips LED bulbs at 50% discount (Woolworths & Bunnings).
$15 shipping seems excessive, given that an express envelope from Australia Post is less than that.If you are around Brisbane we are happy to take your order over the phone and work out the exact shipping rate to deliver the goods.
Not much fits in a 500g satchel let alone a 1kg satchel to be fair
How much do you think a light bulb weighs?
Probably 200-300G at the most. Auspost charges a walk-in customer $7.60 nationwide <500g so yep shipping is far too high. I've had 2KG items delivered for $12 before.
$19.50 for a 200lumen unbranded led globe, I don't see how this is a deal in any way, even at $4.5… quite the opposite if you ask me!

(if you believe what the seller says)Worth it for parts, if nothing else.
Good find. The only thing you have to vary about is whether they are rated for AU standards. We are fighting a price battle with non AU standard products. They are OK until your house burns down. If that's the case then the insurers would not cover the damages. Unfortunately, the market is price driven and not quality driven. This is what we are trying to educate everyone on.
A fair proprortion of the Chinese globes are easy to open/inspect/modify/repair, so safety is not a concern to me, personally. I have stopped buying most lights locally. That very characteristic might make them "dangerous" to some, no doubt.
Insurance concerns are worth noting for people who deal with insurance companies (and who fear the worst). So much of what I've imported, from shonky travel adaptors to all sorts of random electronics from China is not certified by the bureaucracy here. And personally I wouldn't even trust it if it were. Nothing is guaranteed.
I don't like to down a posting but I'm also failing to see value.
No CRI stated, even the (claimed) efficiency is only 80Lm/W, Power factor isn't listed. The website also states "Voltage No" :-pCRI is how natural colours are, many cheap light are 70-80 but even lamps with CRI around 80 is still a hard light. CRI of 90 with 100+ lm/W is the bare minimum these days.
Power factor is 100 for a incandescent lamp or heater, good quality LEDs are 95, most bad ones are 40-60.
Not a deal cheaper at ikea
Downvoting, consider the specs to be misleading. Exceptional colour reproduction suggests a Cri well over 90 but this isn't even published.
