thanks mate sure - I just like the dive style (I am not a diver) I appreciate the bezel - think it's so underrated - I did look at the SKX007K1 for ages but this one is a smaller diameter so suits better (and cheaper!)

Did anyone get this issue too? "To make your checkout easier, we've grouped these items for you to purchase first."
I have items in cart more than $100 but when I proceed to checkout, I keep getting this and it's now way below $100. Everything is in AU$…

    • +1

99% certain that it is a currency issue. I've seen this before, even though it is showing as AUD in the cart's running total it is being calculated in another currency, probably USD. Try adding additional items one by one until you get the error, that will identify the problem item.

  • Anyone else having issues using the code for their second transaction?

I bought a couple of items from a seller yesterday and got my first $20 discount, but I've just tried to buy something else today to use the code a second time (as per T&C's) and I'm getting the red "This code can't be applied to your order" message when I try apply the voucher code.

Item is $480 and isn't from one of the excluded categories, so there's no reason for the voucher not to work!!

    • Same! Perhaps they have messed up, and blocked after just one use? Might be useful to try an alternate account, if you have one.

I don't understand how this can be correct.

    The Terms and Conditions state:-

"10. Your eBay.com.au and Australian PayPal accounts must be active at the time of redemption (not suspended nor made inactive by eBay or PayPal) and be registered under the same email address."

Who would be silly enough as to use the same email address for both their eBay Account and their PayPal Account?

    • +1

      umm… most people?

      • -2

        Surely not you though?

      • Are you seriously claiming that it is 'good security' to use the same email address for an ebay account and a PayPal account?

I understand that one would use different passwords, but it can not be good practice to use the same email address.

        • I understand that one would use different passwords, but it can not be good practice to use the same email address.

I'm not claiming its 'good security', but I will claim that assuming you are using a decent (and unique) password on each site, its not 'bad security' to use the same

        • Ok, but the question is - why do ebay have as a condition that if you do not use the same email for both accounts, this offer will not be valid?

        • @A3Australia:

likely to reduce the number of people trying to 'double dip' on promos like this, and to make aligning ebay/paypal transaction information easier

no idea, but you can always not have them the same, damn the man, and let them keep their $20

        • It can't reduce anything. This deal is limited to two transactions, and is based on the eBay ID.

I spoke with eBay support. They realised that this is an error, and have supposedly passed it on to get it fixed.

Users who have different email addresses for their ebay and PayPal accounts can still use this code.

        • I can't see the problem if you have 2FA on Paypal. Worst case scenario?

The whole world has my email address.

        • @A3Australia: Doesn't work. Used a different email for eBay than PayPal, won't let me use it again. It seems it's tied with the PayPal email.

        • @justmiike:
          Same for me at first.
After I spoke with eBay it was fixed.
I also spoke with PayPal and they said they were getting lots of calls/complaints

  • Thanks OP - $40 saved and stocked up through Dan Murphy :)

  • Can someone confirm this applies to ANY item on ebay (ie not just in Australia)?

  • +1

Really frustrating- if one of your items is in a foreign currency, it makes you checkout in multiple transactions! I assume that invalidates the coupon? Is there a way around this?

  • Oh crap, I just paid and NOT with PAYPAL.

Please put that in the description OP I'm very annoyed right now

    • Wat?

      • Maybe I'm not reading the T's and C's right. Does the purchase have to be made via PayPal to be valid?

        • You need to enter the promotion code, after which it won't let you pay any other way (without removing the code).

  • thanks OP. bought some ram

  • Thank God this is capped at $100….twice.
Otherwise would have spend 2k rather than 200

  • PRO TIP: When checking out in multiple currencies, you must split the transaction. I contacted customer support (live chat) and they made an exception :)

    • No go! I tried this but in my case item hasn't actually been listed on ebay AU but seller does ship to AU. All items must be listed and searchable on AU site only.

  • Tks OP, bought an Glenlivet 18yo for $104.

  • Anyone else having trouble buying from Dan Murphy's Ebay site? Have tried 4 times on 3 browsers plus a reboot in the past half hour and couldn't complete any of my purchases. I made sure each order was >$100 and the code was accepted, then it stumbles when I confirm payment and before it can go to my Paypal a/c… All I get are error messages from DM.. Might try again tomorrow or become a teetotaller

    • Yep, getting Error codes: 70049 70084. Tried many times, unable to complete the checkout :-(

  • I have multiple items in cart all listed in AU and all in AU currency $120 worth but wants to split it in two $60 lots? Is this so I can't use the code? How to get around this?

    • Unfortunately this being done on purpose. logged in today and proceeded to checkout. This time they have decided to split it up differently. This is so sad…
Edit. hmmmm maybe I'm wrong about that seems it splits them according to if the seller has discounts or not which changed overnight..

  • Any Good Deal on Canon 80D ? Please let me know guys :)

    THL T9 Pro Android 6.0 5.5 inch 4G Phablet MTK6737 Quad Core 1.3GHz 2GB RAM 16GB ROM Fingerprint Scanner Bluetooth 4.0 GPS

    • Anymore at that price? Cheapest I can find is AU $111.89

      • After $20 discount….I bought the white one which is a dollar more.

  • Hate how it's limited to 2 transactions.

    • make a 2nd account

  • Does the item need to be new or can it be used; like a second hand laptop?
Its not specified on the T&C's.

    • +1

used items are fine, can be anything at all

  • Thanks, just used it successfully,.

  • Anyone know what happens when you place order on ebay with these codes?

I used the 15% off $75 spend the other day with one item from one seller and another item from another seller.

And im not sure what's going on as it says unpaid in my account you click on it and says paid, but there has been no mention from seller about out of stock or refund.

I then place another order today $20 off $100 spend and one of the sellers from the above tells me of an item out of stock,i ordered 7 items in this order of which as said one item is being refunded but yet to be refunded.shows on account as pending.

Anyone know what happens here when you buy items with to the values of like first orders listed of $75 spend and the second order of $100 spend.

How does this work when on both each had an item out of stock.
The reason i got the extra item on first order was to allow me to use the 15% off.

And the second order i ordered the 7 items to get me over the $100 spend but im very confused.
I just hope im not paying full price on other items due to one of each order not being in stock.
My paypal is just weird right now.
