Everytime I walk past the world square one, I feel like I'm walking past an imposter. Likewise with uncle tetsu. Yet they are the only ones that were brought to Australia.

The real cheese tarts are from Kinotoya BAKE in Japan - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhQPwO4uymo
The real fluffy cheesecakes are from Rikkuro (it's also a lot bigger than the over priced rip off of uncle tetsu) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYGnhHA1V1I

People who have been to japan and have had these ones, and subsequently tried their clones (baked cheese tart and uncle tetsu) would know the difference.

I am hoping that one day Pablo comes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhy5vLGB8Qo

    • This man knows what he's talking about.

Tried the ones in Melbourne, nothing close to the original from Japan.

http://www.kinotoya.com/ - The original Hokkaido cheese tart
http://bakecheesetart.com/STORY/index_en.html - What their called elsewhere other than Hokkaido

These are really to die for if anyone's going to Japan. Tip - let them know your having it now so they give you a warm one, instead of saying take away, where they'll give you a cold one. Also, the Ice cream is equally as good.

  • you will need to like them on Facebook, therefore only one per person per phone same as in Westfield Doncaster two weeks ago I think.

    Just to point out:
    1) The company is NOT Japanese, but Malaysian.
    2) They are owned by PappaRich (The malaysian food chain).
