Also, the products mentioned on eBay are the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) versions and they are restricted to one hardware. If you change the machine, you can't use that license on another machine although your license is valid.

So are you saying if I get a computer with a pre installed eset product you don't provide support.
The fact is I can buy a 3 user licence for ESET NOD32 Internet Security from ebay for $17.50 everyday of the week.
If I buy a 1 user licence from you using your "Special" it would cost me $29.97.
Also I have never had a problem transferring oem to different hardware but seeing I can buy a 3 user licence cheaper than your single licence that doesn't matter.
I don't see how you justify such a mark up.

If you have purchased an ESET license from ESET or our official reseller then only you can avail a free service from ESET whether it's a pre-installed or you install it later. If you didn't have to face any issue then no worries.

I have been using the product for 2 years and it works well. I bought my licenses from the NZ distributor. Renewing it through official channels is significantly more expensive than buying new licenses, so not sure which way to go. Unsure whether to get more ebay licenses. I would happily pay the Australian distributor price at 50% discount if it either renewed some existing licenses or I could start again.
The issue is that it seems if you go through legitimate Australian license holders, it gets expensive to renew.
Any solutions?
I think harisstechnology is a reseller, I was going to buy a new license there when mine was due, but I managed to get the 80% deal earlier this year for 3 years
