Dentist here.
How come dentists can't show their faces on TV?
It's so we can hide behind the anonymity of the internet and broden sweet deals.
Just kidding, I always miss out on the best deals :( Really wanted that Dominoes Amex deal.
is your name Rob ?
Unfortunately Rob has lost his Oral B sponsorship and is not relegated to browsing Ozbargain for things to resell on Gumtree.
Thanks for the useful summary.
Thanks! Can I apply to be the next Robin?
doesn't break any of those rules, thanks.
Expired already?
I think they figured out the whole
legally only dentists
part was going to not work out so well for their business :)
I was being sarcastic, once they figured they broke the rules…. Presto. Expired :)
Hopefully they don't post anymore rubbish on ozb
I posted that during my morning rush so I hope it was clear that I don't think you're breaking any rules as long as you're not using high concentration whitening gels.
Dentist here.
I'm not negging because I don't think it breaks any rules but I have a few warnings:
Nowhere on the site does it mention if this is done by a dentist, I'm assuming not.
Legally only dentists are allowed to use hydrogen peroxide 6% or more.
Generally the higher the concentration, the more effective. The sweet spot I find is 25%.
Even though this is ostensibly "cheaper", the fact that you get a lower concentration, a one hour treatment with this is not equivalent nor as effective as a one hour higher concentration treatment at a dentist.
It is a free market and this is not a dodgy deal but is it value for money?
I personally don't think so because dentists don't charge that much more (at least I don't) and you get a more effective product.
More importantly though, the info is there for you to decide. We will let the ozbargain system do its work. :)
As PJC and Watchnerd protect Ozbargainers from poor watch deals, I want to offer my expertise where I can.
