Is the pricing at this store the same as the pricing at other Woolworths stores?
Mostly not.
They cater more for convenience as they sell hot soup, pre-packed sandwiches, hand-made coffee and the like.
Metro stores typically have the same prices, but a reduced range (more branded, less generic).
They tie up to the catalogue specials exactly (if they range the product) and for everything else there is a 10% price increase.
That's for the specials they actually run, I've had several products on a Catalogue special NOT be on special at a Metro Store, meaning usual shelf price. Which, I raised with the manager and she apologised, explained and then offered to return the items to the shelf (as I was at the self checkout checking the price since there was no special tag)…
TL:DR Not all catalogue specials apply at Metro, good luck figuring out which ones don't apply
Has anyone ever tried to use these coupons at other stores?
Unlikely to work at other stores. This store had a similar offer recently (spend $15 get $5). I tried the barcode up the road at Southern Cross Metro but it didn't work.
This voucher may be different but i had success in the past for a similar voucher. Might give this one a go just to test it out
Split your shop at $30, then use voucher for next $10.
Then repeat process. Assuming self checkout.
Max saving is 25%, assuming your shopping was an exact multiple of $40

A better answer is, they don't always do ALL of the catalogue specials, but in general they do..
I've had various Yogurts, snack / protein bars and other products that were not On Special at W/W Metro but are actually On Special in the catalogue
Hardly anything there worth going out of your way for(compared to any regular Woolies). The $10 you save would really be offset by the higher/non-specials prices.
They have Up-n-go on Catalogue special but none of them have the Rebel promo packaging.
Agree that the normal prices are inflated but they sometimes have (a few) specials that normal Woolies don't have.
Just bought mobile starter pack from there and it doesn't seem to be included.
I'm guessing mobile starter packs are excluded along with the recharges.
