Thanks. That is surprising. Google found a packet saying Swedish recipe and quality but I harboured doubts.
yeah it'll be no Marabou. Although at least it's got a decent amount of Cocoa solids.
For $1.29 it'd be worth a try
@supabrudda: I would get some if I was near a branch.
It's ok, but not as good as some other cheap euro chocolate.
Never heard of Choklad Ljus before, at first I thought it was some sort of weird Euro version of soggy biscuit.
The Logan (QLD) store had pallets of these selling for 50c a while ago because they were short dated. I bought half a dozen at that price. Not quite as good as Cadbury in taste, but a lot better than the cheap chocolate that cheap unbranded Easter eggs are made of.
At that price I would buy quite a few. At 30% cocoa solids I'm surprised you consider it inferior to Cadbury's.
I am by no means a chocolate connoisseur, I don't eat chocolate that often, so other people who are more into chocolate might rate them differently.
Fair enough. I am half man, half chocolate.
Good first post. Is the chocolate made in Sweden?
