Its a different model
ohh okokokokok!
You're right - the cheaper one was better model that came with the remote adjustment
I'm confused - comment in the other listing suggested that this is a better model due to variable resistance versus manual
It is a better model.
That didn't qualify for free shipping so ended up being around $75 and there were only a few available. Not sure they'll regularly be that cheap so I think this is a good deal for those that missed out.
Thanks OP - Bought one and a pair of Shimano shoes!
You should also get a flashing LED light to go on it.
You can buy some shoes with LEDs already in them, no need for after market LEDs
Get Heelys, no need for a bike either.
Get marbles, no need for Heelys.
Shimano shoes
who wears shoes when fishing?
I wear G-strings.
PM me a pic, i need inspiration
I only wear them when I'm crab fishing.

isnt this one better?
Better but out of stock
For double the price can get one which is a proper trainer - closer to the road feel and quieter too.
Get Rollers if you want to feel the road or have something funny to upload the youtube
Great price but these are cheap because everybody now wants a smart trainer where they can race their mates on zwift. I would love to pull the trigger on one of these but I get the feeling I would be better off saving the $$ towards a wahoo kickr or one of the other smart trainers with ANT+ FE-C.
You could still race your mates on zwift with a dumb trainer and zwift estimate power if you don't have a power meter………. but electronically controlled resistance is the winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Gotta have the trainer controlled resistance!!
It's just not the same getting to that virtual hill and having to manually increase resistance to simulate hitting that hill lol.
@adamadam: Not sure my body could handle the expectation that I would create by smashing all the mountaingoats up hills when i have no resistance. The Saturday shop rides where we actually ride for real would find me out bigtime!
You can race your mates now??? Can you tell me more please!
The mag+ trainer (that was $49) is exactly the same as the mag trainer but comes with the extra remote adjuster to change resistance (rrp USD$30). To change resistance in this one you need to get off the bike and manually twist the knob on the trainer. The trainer with progressive resistance is the Cycleops magneto trainer which was $99 previously on pushys
looks like its been cheaper if im not mistaken
