Mkb 5588 Kids Remote Control Car - $22.32 USD (~$30.34 AUD) Shipped @ GearBest

40

Videos and reviews look pretty awesome for kids. Tank style turning, so very small turning circle.

Other sites seem to have prices starting above 30usd plus shipping.

Comes with a 6.4V 400mAh 2S lithium-ion battery. Any advice on buying or building spare batteries, or safely charging these ones appreciated (the included USB battery charger seems shady).

thanks, bought for my boys, they will definitely love it. Also, don't forget to add $1.38usd insurance for peace of mind when dealing with Gearbest, I never received my item last year Nov and didn't buy insurance so they only refunded me half the item value, loss money for nothing

  • Won't last long btw with a 400mah battery lol. Your probably looking at 10 mins of run time.

  • Doesn't look like battery is included from the comments and Package Contents List.

    Package Contents: 1 x Stunt Car, 1 x Transmitter, 1 x USB Charging Cable

    • better off buying this for $6 extra which includes the batteries.

      • Interesting that the descriptions are almost identical except for the references to the AA and 6.4v batteries… You might be right, hope you aren't…

        • The comments from the Gearbest rep at the bottom of the Gearbest page were my first tip off.

    • FYI it looks like the battery pack is two solar rechargeables wired together (3.2v+3.2v=6.4v), so I'm going to give these a spin. https://www.bunnings.com.au/solar-magic-3-2v-600mah-14500-li….

      • Good solution and with extra capacity somehow!?
I thought LiFePO4 were supposed to have reduced capacity with the benefit of more stability.

        • Yeah, it's lower capacity than most lipo.

        • @MrDixit:
But the rated capacity of the "included" battery was only 400mAH??

        • @scubacoles: no idea

  • So received a car today. Good news is it comes with the car battery and law pretty awesome. Bad news is that the controller was DOA…

    • Trying to get it sorted with GearBest now.

      • Cool, so they are resending a transmitter, no hassle.
