The one I got from that seller was branded and is working perfectly fine.
Does anyone else have this? I bought one and walk 10 steps, it adds on 73. It overestimates so much it's ridiculous!
Does the same for me, its pretty much useless to be honest.
I've had one about a fortnight and to be honest it's pretty spot on. Even compared to my wifes Fitbit Blaze and older Garmin vivofit.

Also got to make sure it's not too loose on your wrist, should be a snug fit.

Just curious - i got mine from the lightinthebox deal - but are these meant to come with those counterfeit stickers you can scratch and check for being real on xiaomi? Mine didn't? Just a white box.
It looks legit, but one thing I note is i get occasional freezes where no steps are counted. So far it's working but my mum has been checking her steps on her evening walks (i got her one) and say 500 steps for a round, 12 rounds, she gets nowehre near 6000 steps but around 4k something. today she even got less than the 500 steps per round when i told her to check per round what it was counting. It was 100-200 steps off.
Is anyone else noting any issues, or is the xiaomi's just not great?
The fitbits were spot on counting, but I ditched my charge hr as they break down so often.
It's $30 for a device that weighs next to nothing on your wrist, at least it's trying.
