  • Safe-n-Sound Millenia SICT ISOFIX Convertible Car Seat

can I use this in a sedan?

    • My friend uses it in her Toyota Camry just fine.

    • Isn't the more appropriate question, "can it be used for 1000 years?"

      • yes, I've used it for almost 950 years so far and it's still solid!

note that my son is almost 2yo but he's still facing backwards but he's not a chubber

it's ISOFIX, check your car back seats, if you can feel the hooks when your run your hand down the folds then it'll work

This seat is cheaper at Bubs at $459.95.

I was looking for a seat for my 1 yo, I wanted a rear facing one, and I was undecided between this and the Slimm line
I ended up getting the Slimm line, because it has a better head protection when on rearwards position, which is when the baby head is more vulnerable. in addition that was almos $100 cheaper. Toys r us beat that price btw.
    Cheers

    • awesome, even cheaper price to do price match with

  • will this fit ok at a backseat of a VW Golf?

Currently using a capsule and it's so long that the front seat move forward so much.

Me too - I just got the Maxi Cosi capsule and I can't believe how much room it takes up! It's jammed right up against the back of the passenger seat, and my car's classed as a small SUV, so not a tiny car at all.

I've got this in the rear seat of the golf7 (in rear facing mode) and my wife can still sit in the front seat comfortably.
Though because the AHR (headrest) part of the Millenia extends outwards as baby gets longer so it may be a struggle in the future. Though by that time we'll probably just convert it to forward facing.

You can always test them out at baby bunting, usually they will bring it out to your car to test if it fits before you purchase.

    • The slimm line is shorter (about 2cm) than the Millenia. It should fit smaller cars.

  • You can get it even cheaper if you show Baby Buntings sale price this w/e only $439 and then get the price match + 10% off which brings it down to $395.10 – I just did this at Toys R us/Babies R us
