      Cry me a river…

Nope no coupon for me either. I have to stop buying stuff from them then lol. A lot of my purchases are small value things where it may be slightly cheaper than AliEx but it means I'll never flag as a user who needs to be thrown a coupon

  • It didn't work for me either… hope it worked for some of you.

I bought about 5 things recently, hadn't bought much for ages so maybe should've played hard to get more.

  • no coupon worked for me
    waiting for amazon as well

Do you think Amazon is going to be your savior or something?

They're going to be paying Australian wages and Australian taxes and then realize the profit margins they were making on US pricing won't keep them afloat here, then they will sell their products are realistic prices which end up being not much cheaper than HN.

      • Why would they? They don't have to open brick and mortar store and the massive cost from there to compensate for it.

        • I guess activities like warehouse management, supply chain/logistics etc don't apply right? 😎

        • Amazon US already makes very tiny margins. (Yes they employ people btw — who do you think packs and sends your stuff?) Their priority is expansion and market share, not profits. And that is in a place where they don't pay Aussie wages.

In Australia, the margins they were operating on would not be tenable. You won't get as big a discount as the Americans.

      • I think he means, that most people don't hunt too hard for bargains, so will buy from Amazon, simply because it turns up here. Which means less money going to ebay. Which means more coupons from ebay.

ebay truly are fools. They have changed so many things over the last ~15 years, that made people walk away, and its stock price fall. So instead of reversing direction, they just ploughed ahead in the same direction.

I finally got a targeted eBay deal haha. So anyway, what's the point of posting targeted deals on here?? Either you're targeted and you already know about it because they sent you targeted marketing material, or you didn't know because you weren't targeted. Because ebay has become a spammer, so few people read them anymore. i.e. They don't just email what is on your watchlist… They now constantly email reminders about items you clicked on weeks ago, that you weren't interested in - and those emails look the same as your real watchlist emails. There was no option to turn this annoying feature off, without also turning off my real watchlist notifications. If that's the way they want to play it, so be it - so I turned both off, and am now probably buying less because of it. Like I said above… Ploughing ahead instead of reversing mistakes, like the idiots they've consistently proven themselves to be.

    • Also, sometimes the emails end up in the junk mail folder or don't turn up.

In the past that's how it sometimes worked.

  • Can someone tell me where under "My eBay" am I supposed to see these vouchers?

    • Easiest way to try is just input those codes when you try checking out something. If you have it, it will work. If not, you don't.

      • Can you cancel your buy if it does not work?

        • +1

You dont need to finalise, you can try the code before finalising payment.

        • +2

Don't "Buy it now" - just "add to cart". Then click "checkout" and enter the code to check if it works.

  • nothing for me either, screw you ebay!

  • Fail eBay nne of these work

The suck is strong with eBay

    Time for a neg ?

  • Chat with ebay and they said I have the fake email. Ebay will never send email direct to our email address, but to ebay message. Tried all the codes, not for me.

Ebay will never send email direct to our email address, but to ebay message.

That's patently false. I get emails from them all the time that don't show up in message. Messages only concern items I've purchased or questions ot other sellers.

All the 20% off deals, and reminders of what's in my cart come direct from ebay directly into email.

      • Thats true its become quite out of sync

  • Never received any target offer from ebay

  • +1

Got the email for $10 Auspost. I need 10% :(

  • +1

    Received $10 off $30 spend.

    TEN2SPEND doesn't work for me.

    • Got this too

  • I received the $10 off $30 at three different email addresses (apparently I have signed up for three AusPost accounts over the years…who knew?). They are all different codes, but I only have one eBay and one Paypal account (the other two email addresses don't have an account for either site). Pity it's only one per person and linked to accounts to I can't pass it on

Genuinely not gloating or anything - confused why I received it at email accounts not associated with eBay or Paypal.

    Edit:
This is the AusPost deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/310090. Also, there's seriously no point downvoting this comment. It's not like I did anything to receive these and other people would have received multiple emails. There's no problem having multiple AusPost accounts. But the neg-er should learn to read what I actually wrote.

    • If you have ever given an email address at AusPost when you sent an item over the counter (mine were sent international), check that account. This seems to be where they got my two unrelated email addresses.

    • +1

I don't believe they are linked. I used mine today and my eBay/Paypal email address is different to my auspost email address.

Thanks for that! Found $20 off $30 spend.
