Your Cantina Wines
13 Military Rd
Avondale Heights
VIC 3034
03 9317 8783

Went yesterday and picked up 2 bottles they seemed to have quite a few, but I recommend calling and putting 1 aside.
The store is actually a Bottle Mart in case you can't find it - huge sign.

Such a shame it's only in VIC. Would love to buy it at that price if they also had a store in NSW.

    • nvm

  • well you already know from the other thread that at this price you have my vote +1 brilliant spotting, a 1L for 700/750ml price.

  • Any other stores confirmed with this price or is it just the one at avondale heights?

  • more of a Chivaz Regal- Royal Salute fan, though the above is a great deal

    checking syddutyfree.com.au:

    1L $235
    750ml $175

    This trumps both easily

    • Checked the above link for other prices.

Sydney Duty Free is quite expensive.

2L of Johnnie Walker Black for $99, or $76 for 1.5L at Dan Murphy's at the moment. Virtually the same price. I will be flying international next month and I think I'll give that duty free shop a miss.

At the same store, $126 for 700mL works out to be the same price per litre. For those who want some, but not a whole litre.

  • Tried to get a Dan Murphy's to price match but they didn't stock the 1 litre bottle.
Might be possible for the $126 for 700mL to be price matched though.

Not a bad deal. considering Dan murpheys have it for $164 I believe at the moment, this may be for the 700ml bottle however i'm not sure Was in there about an hour ago, got a bottle of gold for $100

This is an awesome deal but no good for me as I am in SA. Dan Murphys have the 750ml bottle for $164.85 which is still good so I grabbed one of those. I rang a different Bottle Mart in Vic and asked if they had it at the same price as the OP quoted, they couldn't believe the price and said if I could get it for that price I should buy $1000 worth! So yeah, nice find OP!

  • bought one in the mourning and the last one about 10mins ago

  • 150 odd at Costco today!

    • The 1L version too???

Maybe it's time to renew my Costco membership..

Great Bargain and a great drink too!!

  • I bought one from this Bottle Mart. Dan Murphy's don't stock 1L, so doubt they would price match equivalent 750ml bottle. This Bottle Mart in Avondale Heights (Cantina) imports themselves (parallel importing) thus cutting out middle man, thats why they have the litre size and lower price. Great value…cheaper than duty free.

  • great deal for the price, only problem is that it's Johnny blue, sure, if it's more of a show piece (rather than something you're actually drinking) it's great, but for for the price, you'd want to drink it straight, and drinking it straight, you're better off with a single malt …
