I bought 4 different sizes of these from a warehouse sale last week and they are fantastic .
I have just bought one of these to store them in but they do come in a spongy interior slot to keep them rattling around a drawer and damaging them

  Struggling to find any evidence of the "up to 90% saving".

  All eleven examples sell for $15 per knife.

  There's not even one RRP that's remotely close to the $150 mark.

  So, where, pray tell, does the "up to 90%" hold up to scrutiny?

    I like the 14cm santoku for veg , I have the 20cm carving knife, 18cm santoku and the 15cm chefs knife . I just bought different sizes to cover all bases .

  Lol never had to buy knives but a whole new world out there. Had to google santoku. Is there a guide to all these japanese knife names for the uninitiated? The knives on this deal are sold out unfortunately.

  I inherited a knife block of various brands from homebrand to anolon or something. Just wondering if the knife sharpeners here are universal to sharpen them (some have little chips in the sharp edge. Are these writeoffs or can be sharpened away?) or must i get a stone knife block as opposed to using these gadgets where said knives can be run through to sharpen?

    Yep i got that too for the 18cm santoku. 5 hours after an email with both items in the product list saying it had shipped with tracking number. i replied saying dont bother because the other item was a knife sharpener that is useless to me now. they obviously oversold and are covering their tracks. Opened a paypal dispute.

      Yes! I got an email saying it was shipped before this one!

      I told them I don't believe the story and that I expect an equivalent Santoku to be offered at a reasonable cost.

        @Presjar: Right now they are trying to ask me to close my paypal dispute so they can offer me a refund. Once a case has been closed it cannot be reopened again so I won't budge on this one. I think that they will try and charge me the shipping and give me a partial refund if I cancel it, so I will wait until the end of the claim period and paypal can take my money back. House are terrible though, I won't be buying from them again.

  So you ended up with just the knife sharpener? I'm guessing they want you to return the sharpener on your own back?
