50% off for Aussie Bodies bars, so thanks for your post. Much better than the usual Woollies specials.

The 100g ones are currently $2.50 @ Woolworths vs. $2.99 @ Chemist Warehouse.

      • Also check out the Musashi bars which are comparable. 45g protein and $2.82. Not much of a price difference so it's a matter of taste.

        • You also get an extra 10% off when you purchase 10 or more of the Musashi bars. I bought 20 Musashi bars for $50.76, Then -$10 for entertainment book voucher. $40.76 for 20 Musashi bars… $2.04ea

@SingMeASong: Wow thanks. Might do the same.

      • Didn't notice that one, probably because I still have heaps left from buying dozens with the last half price special. Woollies haven't been as generous with the smaller bars, as they had the 30g ones for half price about a month ago, but the best they could do recently for the 60g was 25%. The smaller bars have a bigger range of flavours available, including the highly desired salted caramel that always sells out quickly.

        • Hard gainer here. I only eat the big ones.

    Goat Skincare
Why do Goats need skin care?

    • because some farmers are shallow?

You've goat to be kidding me

  • Good to stock up 'ease a cold' medicines for spring this year. Perhaps though check expiry dates before buying.

    • Probably a stupid question, but how do you check expiry date when buying online?

      • Actually a good question.

        I have no idea.

I'm planning to going in-store, and I sometimes keep forgetting to check expiry dates.

      • I found when ordering online, they (skincares at least) were pretty 'new stock' so you don't have to worry too much about the expiry date.

  • Looking to pick up some krill oil - are there any differences between the brands?

The workers of CWH will claim that the supplement/vitamin products do not vary between brands (under the same strength/dosage). This is inaccurate. Manufacturers of these supplements are exempt from any official testing done on the purity levels of the vitamin before being commercialized and ready to be put on the shelf, and as such it leaves companies with the discretion to choose what they really want to put in each capsule/tablet to a certain extent. The strength labels stuck on the packaging (e.g. FISH OIL 1000mg) would vary among brands. The safest bet is to go with the more reputable brand names like Swisse/Blackmores/Bioglan as they're less likely to offer misleading product labels in comparison to the lesser known brands they stock.

      Source: I work there.

iherb.com is much cheaper for this stuff any day and has many global brands which aren't available here.

Perfect timing, I was after some good nail clippers! Manicare's toe clippers are pretty good and last years, Diaso not so much, I dropped it and it chipped!

    • Your toenail did? If so, bonus!

    • Where are the clippers on sale? Also are you Russian?

      • Yes $3.50, hmmm… perhaps I should buy another. I've been hunting these for some time, as each store has a different price (Priceline). I'm Japanese.

Diaso - Generally not dishwasher safe, though their knives are the best 2.80 I've spent!

    • Diaso… must be a Hispanic discount retailer similar to the Japanese one. Peso store.

Some actually decent deals unlike many of the CW "specials" though might pay to change the title to "50% off RRP" yes be a little wary of some of their pricing, generally good but they do make it up on other stuff. Also be careful of their prescriptions, always ask for the CHEAPEST. AI asked for branded once and it was cheaper than their generics.

Man, I already bought the yearly makeup supplies from the Target 40% sale.

50% off manuka honey seems like a rare find though. Might grab a jar.

    • Is it like regular honey but amazing? Saw tourists buying all the stock today…

      • Yep, pretty much. Similar to molasses in richness but more honey-ish than sickenly syrupy in taste.
Personally though, even at 1/2 price I still find it a bit of an expensive luxury (I certainly can't justify full price).

        • At least you're eating it :P I bought rose scented water to spray on my face - now that's a lux.

  • Thanks OP, grabbed the Maybelline Master Concealer for $8.

    • Awesome! Yet to try that. I got the Maybelline Face Studio Master Strobe Stick and a Lash Sensational mascara. Have you tried the Dream Cushion foundation yet? Have read that it's a dupe of Lancome Miracle Cushion.

      • I was looking at the the strobe stick too but I had already bought the BYS strobing set from COTD. Looks like you made a good choice. Maybelline mascaras are always reliable too.

I did buy the cushion foundation back in March when it was half price at Woolies, though I haven't yet opened mine cos I still have another opened foundation to use up. A friend who got the cushion told me that it doesn't work very well in hot and humid weather especially for oily/combination skin. So maybe now is a better time to use it as the weather is getting cool.

        • Let me know how you go with the cushion. Looks handy for travelling too.

  • Can i use the entertainment book voucher online?

    • No

Wasn't obvious from the catalogue, but Olay is also half price. Added to description.
