  • So you don't have to book a room at the hotel? If so then I wonder if you can go there everyday with the boarding pass

    • Nice one! I think you need to present the boarding pass when you check-in. Your account then gets credited for the free breakfasts.

Only got to Pan Pacific Marina as it is an awesome hotel and also the best for breakfast buffet. Their restaurant is called Edge and it's on level 3.

The one in Orchard is a dump!

I agree. The Pan Pacific Singapore is near the Marina Bay area next to the Suntec City Mall - it is actually one of my favorite hotels in Singapore!!!

      • Yep, love this hotel. Stayed there many times. Unfortunately work is putting me up in the Orchard one more often now because they do a cheaper group booking. The Orchard one is so run down, rooms are average, and there's always some issue with my stay. Marina is always perfect.

I have eaten at Edge (dinner) before, it is probably one of the best buffets that I have had in Singapore.

      • Best buffet breakfast, best buffet lunch and best buffet dinner!

    • I was there last month, amazing hotel and so close to everything.

wow, free breakfast at a hotel. this is a new concept.

what next? sheets on the bed?

    • Toilet paper next to the toilet?

  • Is it… continental?

    • +1

FYI, it is a full buffet breakfast with a noodle station, Chinese dim sim and buns, India curries, Japanese rice breakfast, egg station etc, fruit and cereal station and a dessert station (pancakes etc etc)……

I was there for 10 nights. They knew I came on Singapore Airlines yet they did not mention anything about free breakfast during checkin. In had to pay for the breakfast. Total scam.

    • Sorry to hear that.

My understanding is that it is not promoted. I think you need to ask for the "Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass Privileges" and then present your boarding pass.

    This is ozbargain not SGbargainz

I think there would be limited cases where someone who lives in Singapore will need to 1) transit through Singapore 2) stay in a hotel during transit

But with that logic anyone can post any deal. Like if chicken breasts were $2 a kg in india, then should we post it here incase some aussies are in india?

        • Agree- my half price dominos pizza deal for Vietnam got pulled

      • but there are lots of hotels, and this ones too expensive for an ozbargainer. also breakfast should be free for such high class hotel

    • would make sense if it's posted on CheapcheapLah too

Even if I got it free, I'd still rather walk down the road to the hawkers and pay the $2.50 or so for breakfast. You're in Singapore with the best food in the world and it's not at a hotel buffet.

    • +3

Although, I have to say - Singapore Hotels do amazing, amazing, hotel buffets. Once you've had one - you'll be forever disappointed by Australian style buffets.

      • totally agree with poppit88. Singapore offers really amazing buffets….

      • +1

Yep it's amazing, but hawker food is still better IMO. I spend a lot of time in Singapore due to relatives there, so I might be biased :)

      • While $2.50 hawker food is legit, the buffets are on a whole other level
