Credit Card for Qantas Points

Just cancelled my AMEX platinum edge to avoid the Annual fee.

looking for a card that will get some qantas points when I spend. I do travel with work often and we fly qantas. Wanting to build up points to then use for personal trips/upgrades etc.

Looking at the ANZ Black card with 75k bonus points but you need to spend $2500 in first 3 months on that card which seems a bit unrealistic for me as no big purchases planned soon.

Any other suggestions?

      Have seen those, a lot are AMEX but not sure I'd get the deals as I just cancelled one of their cards and the discovery card doesnt have any sign up bonus points

    Qantas AmEx Discovery sounds like the best for you. If you want bonus points, go with the AmEx Ultimate card, it also comes with a included domestic return flight after Qantas spend (just buy something cheap from Qantas Epiqure if you don't want to buy a flight).

    ANZ one seems ok but not a great earn rate. Any chance you can put some of your work travel costs on your personal card (to meet minimum spend) and then get reimbursed by work?

    Qantas is supposed to be launching their own card in July I think, which may be worth hanging out for.

      Applied for ANZ black on minimum credit limit. Hopefully rack up the points/spend quickly and if qantas brings out something decent could look at that too and cancel my 28degree card so i only have 2 at anyone time.
