good drive, snagged one off prices engine before it carked it

    • Oh, I didn't know pricesengine had carked it!
Just checked their website… "Sorry, pricesengine will be down for the next few days. We have to resolve funds issue with Paypal first then we'll be back as soon as possible. "

How long has it been like this?

      • weeks, i got one of there last orders of seagate drives, and that was about a month ago.

I cant see why they cant just ditch paypal since it is being so difficult and use bank deposit or bpay. Its gotta be cheaper than paypals exhorbiant fees and iron fisted rules. A dollar saved by pricesengines could be a dollar off for us too.

flat rate shipping of $19 outside of WA
Visa, Mastercard and AMEX Credit cards attracts 2.3% surcharge.

  • Price is still $89 on the site :)

  • You need to add in the comments section the code

  • Can I get this in store ?

High shipping cost + credit card surcharge (total $90) is a deal breaker for those not in WA.

    Gocom's current offer on the SH-BI123A (12x speed or 50% faster) at $79 + $12 shipping (total $92) is a better deal.

  • For those living in Brisbane, Computer Alliance has the SH-B083L for $69. I think the Lightscribe feature of the SH-B083L is the only difference between it and the model being offered by NetPlus (SH-B083A).

    • SH-B083L has lightscribe.

  • It's a good drive. I think I got it from pricengine for $79. Definite grab for WA people.

damn they are starting to get as cheap as DVD drives…

wont it be nice when its the same things happen to the burners…

  • I believe MSY sells this for $79 so If you do want to wait here is an option.

  • So, this is only a blueray reader? Won't write bluray disk?

    • Yep only reads blu-rays, it doesn't write them.

the combo usually denotes writes DVD disc's though.
