    My favourite yoghurt.

    • +1

What's so good about it? Any flavours to recommend?

      • +3

        Coconut is good
        So is pineapple :)

        • I thought the pineapple one was limited edition, is it back?

      • +3

        Diabetes is always good

        What's so good about it?

It's thicker than other flavoured yoghurts and has some awesome flavours.

My favourites are black cherry, pineapple and also raspberry.

Keen to try the guava and orange one but I can't find it anywhere.

        • I got the guava and orange one at Supabarn recently. If you're not near one, try IGA as they are both supplied via the Metcash warehouses.

          @agentsmith:

          Thanks.

Only have Coles and Woolies in my area, and unfortunately neither carry them.

  • +11

Chobani fanboy reporting. If im not mistaken, plain has the most protein per serving than any other Greek yogurt in the supermarket. EZ gains.

      Chobani fanboy reporting.

I like to rub it on my chest and call myself names.

    • +2

      All kindz.

    • thanks for the report

  • +2

    Lemon is great!

  • +1

    How this compare to Jalna?

    • +3

Jalna is a more traditional product. More Yoghurt flavour and texture, pot set etc. They exist side by side as equals - have them both in the fridge. Aldi have the sweetened "Greek" Jalna yoghurt for $5, but labelled as an Aldi product. Blue lid, same shape container, excellent value.

  • +1

    Nice! Blueberry is my favourite.

  • +4

Blueberry flavour is a faultless product. At $1.12 each, that surpasses recent specials from the Sydney supermarket mob.

Remember Coles will cease specials soon; apparently, specials breed distrust. So stock up folks! Source : http://www.smh.com.au/business/retail/supermarket-specials-b…

Richard of course earned $$5.489 million in 2016, from $9.863 million in 2015.Perhaps he is above specials?

Here's a tip to the Coles reps reading this: the main reason you see me is because of your specials, my 'base' shopping is at Aldi, and Colesworths provide the branded half price goodies. And you'll never find me, 'cos I use cash and don't subscribe to frequent shopper programs.

    • +1

If they really did cut their prices and had lower prices than the competition that would be great, but I don't see it happening so they'll lose a lot of my business too. It's a shame, because I prefer Coles to Woolworths at the moment. Aldi is best for a lot of things, but can't get everything there.

This has a lot of sugar

    • +3

Compared the nutrition values to other brands and it seems this yogurt is lower?

      • +5

It is, other yoghurts have far more sugar.

And if you're that worried about sugar, then get natural Greek yoghurt.

    • No it doesn't. Greek yoghurt naturally contains 6g per hundred and this has 9.

  • -3

I usually make my own, but some of these flavours sound interesting. But is Chobani the same company as the one in the USA, that people are boycotting because it's halal-certified? (Something about them being required to hand over a percentage of income towards moslems in training for jihad!?)

    • +2

But is Chobani the same company as the one in the USA

Yes, started by some Turkish dude who hires refugees.

      • Hm… So is the other part true, do you know?

        • +4

          absolutely its true…
A large yoghurt company is one of the largest supporters of terrorism in the world and being halal certified definitely means you're training extremists

or, you know… that could be one of the dumbest ideas ever and you could perhaps not listen to idiots on facebook

        • @SBOB: He's probably reading the news which is just made up.

        • @Diji1:

alternative facts and fake news everywhere

        • @SBOB:
I think it's possible we've got an ACA fan in our midst, pretty sure it's the show of Pauline Hanson supporters. Absolute rubbish on it every night (I used to live with someone who watched it and didn't always escape in time to miss the headlines) and I know they've done halal certified = supporting terrorists before.

        • @Miss B: Don't watch TV. Don't use facebook. I've been reading more about it (USA, not here). Apparently devout moslems ARE required to hand money over to several groups, or one group that then distributes it to several groups. Either way, it seems to be accurate. One of those that receive money is those who fight in the cause of allah. I won't be buying it now anyway. I'm not risking funding a single rusty nail in a pressure cooker bomb, or drop of fuel in the next truck driven into a crowd of people somewhere in the world.

        • @SBOB: I find it amazing that although there are terrorist attacks all over the world, people are still in denial saying it won't happen here. Like we're the only country that's going to be spared… Lol. (How much more 'fake' could you get!?)

    • +5

The owner of Chobani has deep ties to Socialist Billionaire George Soros who is basically trying to tear down Western Democracy. I used to buy this yoghurt but now wouldn't give them a single cent.

      • -1

That sounds like the words of a mentally stable person, I believe you. Totes!

        • Chobani owner Hamdi Ulukaya is a close associate of Soros, a basic search will prove that, including many images of them together (that's if you are capable of doing a basic search without dribbling all over your keyboard). I couldn't care if he hires (legal) migrants in the USA in his factories, but if he is an associate of Soros he's not getting a cent from me.

      • -1

You are 100% correct… Alex jones is being sued by this goblin.. Deport SOROS!!!!!!

  • +2

    Really nice stuff.

  • +1

    Lemon is great!

  • -3

too much sat fat and sugar. No Thanks.

    • -2

These have more added sugar than most icecreams. I wonder how many mistakenly pick these up thinking, yoghurt … healthy.

      • +9

I wanted to ignore you but you got me

The highest sugar flavour I found was lemon at 17g. Thats 10g/100g

I chose an icecream at random, a popular Caramel drumstick by Peters. Which has 23g or 29g/100g

Not only are you wrong.. but I have also showed you how to use factual evidence to back up a claim

        • Not only are you wrong.. but I have also showed you how to use factual evidence to back up a claim

what have I told you about lettings those silly facts get in the way ;)

        • -2

The article on their sugar content compared to icecreams was in a very recent article in the Courier Mail here in Qld.

You can selectively choose icecreams with higher sugar content. I don't care. Go for it. I hope you didn't have to dismiss too many icecreams in your search :)

Enjoy that healthy extra lashing of sugar !

        • +3

          @redcreek200:

I read the article in question and it doesnt even mention Chobani. At all.

Yet you accuse me of being 'selective'.
Whats even better is, youll love this, The article you 'cited' contains this as a health tip:

          1. Add fruit, nuts or seeds to flavour plain yoghurt

Which is exactly what i said to do in another comment that you also replied to. Im glad my sugary yoghurts have given me enough energy to continuous make you look bad.

    • too much sat fat and sugar. No Thanks.

Blueberry has 0.1g saturated fat (0.4g total)

Sugar is 16g, but if youre than concerned buy plain (5.6g) and add your own fruit. The ratio between tasting nice and healthy its quite balanced compared to almost all other yogurts.

      • +1

Yeah, 16g of sugar. Quite balanced. lol.

        • @furythree:
@furythree, He said the 16g sugared flavored yoghurt was still balanced compared to others. No wonder so many fat people around when they think 16g of sugar added makes it "balanced". Eat it as a treat, but don't kid yourself it's remotely healthy.

        • @redcreek200: he didnt say 16g is balance. notice the full stop at the end of that sentence

he was making a separate statement that there is a balance between tasting nice and it being healthy, which depends on the ratios.

          two separate comments

need to brush up on reading comprehension

        • @redcreek200: HAHAHA resorting to personal attacks

  • +1

Thanks for posting, love this stuff!

This scum bag chobani isn't even Greek.. He's Turkish immigrant who has highjacked the name and exploited the "Greek yoghurt"..

Only hires refugees in factories and is best friends with George SOROS the goblin!!!!!

    F off globalist scum!!!

    • -1

      BOYCOTT CHOBANI!!!!!

      DEPORT SOROS THE GOBLIN!!!!

  • Perfect for when you get the munchies.

  • It's either Chobani or Dairy Farmers. Yum

  • +1

Thanks. My husband has one every day, so I stock up when it is on special.

  • +1

I find all flavored Chobani yoghurts too sweet. What I do now, I buy one plain, one flavored. Mix them up and it's great.

  • Not to be negative (coz I also enjoy these yoghurts) but wasn't 50% off = 99c not too long ago or are these a different size?

EDIT: Oh wait that's probably the 10 for $10 I'm thinking of?

    • Yeah the 10 for 10 sale appears every now and then. Very tempting but there's no one I can share them with (everyone I'm close to is either lactose intolerant or avoiding dairy for whatever dietary reason) and 10 is just too much…!

      • Yeah I hear you. We have lactose intolerant and dairy-free in our family, I'm slightly lactose intolerant but still eat yoghurts to little ill effect.

  • Awesome source of Protein for those on a high protein diet like me.
