    Can anyone comment on the quality of the USB-C to USB-C cable? My nexus 5x charging cable is starting to frey, and they sent me a USB to USB-C cable that charges very slowly (indicates 8 hours charge time rather than charging or charging rapidly).

    DON'T just assume all cables - ESPECIALLY USB-C variants - are alike.

    Benson Leung as a Google employee does many independent tests of a variety of USB-C cables and devices. In some cases, even on brand name cables like Anker, there are significant faults that arise: e.g. 20v still hot after unplugging

    Therefore, whilst these cables MAY work, and MAY not exhibit any issues, I'd be very wary of an untested '92c per M cable' and it's actual specifications.

    I picked up a couple of Apple genuine C-C cables on special for my Nexus 6P instead.

      Since neither of these cables (I presume) was tested, this warning doesn't really help though, does it? Either have a reasonable chance of being poor quality.

        This cable from kogan comes with protection (the Australian Consumer Law)
        I think a $25 rrp cable is safer than those cheap and nasty ones that may only last a few uses.

    I've purhased two of the rMBP cases earlier and they were such a tight fit they cracked within a few weeks. YMMV
