I wouldn't really consider this a bargain, a kilo of whey protein isolate is generally $25.

    oh wait…

    $25 for 250grams ?! SMH

  • Is this substance legal at $100 per kilo?

    • Great question.

We use only the highest grade of legal raw materials. Hope this gives you comfort.

  • Thanks for your query. The materials used are of the highest grade. Australian Kakadu plum, stevia and New Zealand Australian Whey protein isolate.

We do not use USA WPI. I am sure that you can spot the difference between USA WPI and NZ WPI.

Actually Kakadu plum retails in excess of $242 per 500g.

    You should try the sample-)

Kakadu plum is essentially a superfood of vitamin C right ?

The way i see it $100 can get me either,

      1 KG of your WPI

or, 5kg of a competitors WPI + vitamin c capsules.

I am lost on how you price your product 5x more than competition ?

  • The ingredients use are of the highest grade and all natural. Are the vitamin C capsules natural?
Happy to offer you 20kg of WPI at $20 per kilo unflavoured + shipping? And I will even throw in samples of the flavoured WPI.

    • 20kg @ 20 per kilo is a good price but you are asking for a bulk purchase.

I can get flavoured wpi $20 per kilo without having to fork out $400 per transaction.

      • Where do you get flavoured wpi at $20 a kg? cheapest at venom 5kg's is $29.6 and bulknutrients 30kg's is $27.23

GOALSEEK: Do you normally do bulk unflavoured wpi purchases? because I would be up for that when I run out of what I have.

        • unflavoured wpi purchases? because I would be up for that

          Oh God … don't go unflavored :D

        • @Diji1: Do you think I would want 20kg if I didn't all ready know what I was getting into? ;)

        • Hi Mujaji

We can assist you with that. Just drop us an email following the link below:

I agree we aren't the cheapest source of whey protein in Australia, but hopefully we can differentiate ourselves on more than just price. We pride ourselves on the quality of the premium ingredients.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Comparable product to this one will be Bareblends which is much more expensive ($52.49 FOR 500G). We are so confident about the quality of our products and we will match the quote that you have for "WPI with Kakadu Plum".Just send us the link.

    Thanks

  • The price is actually pretty good. It's the shipping that kills the deal.

the entire taste would be ruined by the addition of cinnamon

    • Hi Jobler,

Rest assured the taste is not ruined by cinnamon.

We use Ceylon cinnamon which is very different to Cassia Cinnamon which is the cheap version and more commonly used type of cinnamon. Ceylon Cinnamon has a much more subtle smell than Cassia and it adds a bit of sweetness to the Whey protein.

The links below will be helpful in understanding the difference between Ceylon Cinnamon and Cassia Cinnamon (chinese Cinnamon) as well as the benefits of cinnamon.

So why didn't you use Australian whey…?
Also explain to me what the benefits of all natural vitamin c is compared to tablets lol

    • We do stock Australian Whey Protein Concentrate. However we use New Zealand Whey Protein Isolate as it is considered within the industry to be best in class.

We use Kakadu Plum has the highest concentration of natural occurring Vitamin C in the world as well as a very high level of antioxidants. Intuitively. natural occurring vitamin C and antioxidants are highly beneficial and better absorbed in the body. However, we have no problems with people using vitamin C capsules. It is a matter of choice.

We use the really premium products and we are not trying to compete on prices. For this blend we used New Zealand WPI, wild Australian Kakadu Plum and Ceylon cinnamon as well as Stevia Rebaudioside 98% (Which has no bitter after taste).
