I know this is only limited to iiNET customers, but chose to share this rather than let that be a limitation. ANyway iiNET is the 3rd biggest ISP in Australia so should be some of you out there.
Free WIFI might not sound useful to you, but when you find yourself in another town in Australia / NZ and you need internet, $5 for 10min seems very expensive compared to what you are used to at home (Free/unlimited).
Tomizone has been setting up hotspots around NZ and Australia and even allows people to set up their own. iiNET's partnered with Tomizone to give all iinet customers free access to any tomizone hotspot for up to 100mb every month! A list of Tomizone hotspots can be found at.. http://locate.tomizone.com/address They include hotels and motels in NZ, cafes, restaurants and now.. even iiNET customers all over the place.
A better google map is available which has tomizone and OTHER free wifi hotspots but I dont have it on me at the moment. Anyway this tip should save iiNet customers heaps if you travel quite a bit or organsing a holiday.
thanks for the info. im an iinet customer and might try it out. however, i just recently subscribed to vodafone's 3g internet service so prob wont be a regular user.
