  • I bought this recently. The main processing bowl chipped the first time I used it to chop up some onion and garlic. The plastic chip must have been mixed into the onion which was then used in cooking. I found out about the chip after cooking and ended up throwing away the dish I spent two hours to prep and cook. Very disappointed.

  • Bought one yesterday. Base of food processor seems to be leaking due to lack of tight seal. Tried every way possible. Reluctant to open my second box to check if mine is just faulty. :( I really want to like this but it looks like it's not even worth the $40

  • Just got mine. The main bowl works fine, but the blending and grinding attachments don't spin. Seems there may be quality issues with manufacturing. Anyone else have the same problem?

    • Hey bob.. I opened my second box and everything worked fine. I'm very happy with the purchase that I exchanged the first box rather than ask for a refund.

The blending and grinding attachments only work when the mechanisms safety locks are all pushed down(done by correct assembly of attachments). If yours still isn't working then ring Harris scarfe and ask them to hold you a box to swap. There's not too many on the shelves now.

      Hope these helps!

      • Thanks. I think I will.
Are you able to confirm if my suspicion is right here about a bit being missing, or am I just not doing the safety locks right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ7mOrMVAkM

Hi! Just watched your video. I've used the green attachment with no problems. The key is the cup that comes with it as the rim has "wings" that interlock with the black base of the machine. Let me know how you go. Happy to make a video for you when I'm home!

        • @smittenkitten:

Yeah a video would be helpful. Does it look like the main unit of mine is correct, to me it looks like it is missing something from the middle of the rotating part. It doesn't feel like I should be seeing a bare thread there.

About 40 seconds in you will see that there should be a black centre in the middle of your unit!! Hope this helps!
