I bought this for $119 from BCF before Xmas. Used it on Saturday, took 3 bags of ice. Left in the sun for two days and there is still ice in there at the moment. Best esky I've owned. But most expensive also. Note that there are better ones out there, but even more expensive.
Weird, these have very mixed reviews. Maybe poor quality control?
Fwiw I bought a ridge rider from Supercheap last winter when they were clearing them out. It was $59 for 41L and I took it camping on the hottest night in February thanks to my stupid mates. I put 3 milk cartons and one bag of ice in it. We were there for 3 days and the milk cartons still resembled blocks after that time. That is with moderate opening but keeping it out of the sun.
The ridge rider looks exactly the same as the Waeco. They may very well come from the same factory.
I doubt Anaconda will sell it for $170.10. They will probably add the $189 plus delivery cost ($23 for me) and take 10% off the total of $212.
Still for $191 I think it is the cheapest in Aus for the 68L. I was about to get the 55L from BCF as I need one before Easter but will go in to Anaconda and try my luck tomorrow.
I purchased the Waeco 68litre Cooler at the above listed price so that's how I was able to quote it. Anaconda were also doing 25% off Crocs so I bought 2 pair.
