White Magic Professional Spin Mop $95 Harvey Norman Clearance Store O'Connor WA

50

Just bought this White Magic Professional Spin Mop from Harvey Norman clearance store O'Connor @ $95

I'm not sure it's national or just this HN clearance store.

I know there are some cheap alternatives costs only $30'ish. However, White Magic Professional Spin Mop appears to a way better quality than others.

As per my picture, the shop put their 3x spin mops for sale side to side.

Yellow = white magic professional spin mop
red = white magic Hand Press spin mop
green = typhoon spinning mop

they all spin mop and come with a bucket. But I can notice significant differences in term of the size, quality and features.

the yellow mop (White Magic Pro) comes with a decent trolley with a study handle and 4x nice wheels. So you can move the bucket (which is surprisingly huge) around your house easily. the pro mop has very study pole and extra large mop pad. I fell it's designed for professional clearer.

The red on is White Magic Hand Press Spin Mop which is decent as well. It would good choice for normal domestic cleaning duty. But I prefer Pro version for only $27 extra.

I can image the cheap $30'is spin mops would be like the green one. relatively small size bucket which appears to be flimsy. The pole/handle is usable and don't know how long.

Price-wise, ebay price is over $200. Cheapest price in shopbot is $127.

I reckon $95 is really hard to beat.

  • Are these any better than a good quality normal mop and proper bucket with a wringer?

    • Would also like to hear from people who have got this mop and a normal mop. I am looking for household stuff for my new home but not sure if I can justify $95 for a mop…

      • I think if you have trouble wringing then these make life a bit easier but otherwise no real advantage.

    • yes, get the vileda one instead. much better known brand & price.

  • You can buy these kinds of mops in springvale for about 30. I haven't seen what the difference between this and those are, but 3x the price is a bit steep. Unless it's ergonomically better or much higher quality that makes it last 3x longer, hard to justify.

As for spin mops, I highly recommend as they make it easier to wash and wring your mop

    Did some one say professional

  • $95 bucks for a mop! Surely this is a joke post?

  • the $99 desk fan…. wtf???

  • there were all kinds of this sort of mops sold in china for only 10 aussie dolloars.
