Yes, it doesn't come with a tool case, -$149.50, what do you expect?
Yes, Imperial kits are a waste of storage space, -depends on your vehicle or i just view them as fishing weights
Yes, yada yada yada.

Includes: sockets, socket accessories, ratchet handles, combination spanners & more
Heat treated, chrome vanadium steel (Cr-V)

Ive got a bit of toolpro stuff. Not sure if there are different quality levels but i've been fairly happy with everything so far. On par or better than the stanley stuff i bought in the USA a few years back

The SCA brand tools on the other hand… junk

Agreed I have the 1/2 drive extended sockets set, and the large metric spanner set and they are both good quality. I would say better looking than some of the Stanley sets

How is it a tool kit without cable ties?

I know this is a bargain community so this is definitely a good deal if you're just after cheap tools. However, I think it's worth presenting an alternative as this is a purchase some of you might make for some more serious (amateur) car work. Best tool set that got me 90% through rebuilding an engine of a '62 Merc is this one from Tradetools. Still affordable but high quality gear that hasn't failed me even for some really tough stuff you'd expect on a 55 year old car. Here's the link: https://www.tradetools.com/product-range/auto-and-mechanics-…

    • I had a different experience with them….bought their own brand claw hammer, 1st time I used it to pull out a nail the nail stayed in and made a hole in the claw. I think the metal was tempered in a back yard furnace.

    • Nice set, thanks for sharing Mike

    Love the description OP!
It's like, beat me I don't care! I'm going out with a bang if I have to, but you're going to get a good deal out of me before I go down in flames 🔥

Thanks for sharing and adding to the community! +1 from me mate!

Can't agree more on the description.

One question for you guys. What do you do with the hardly being used imperial unit tools? They are really taking up space.

Buy a 55 year old old car.

Just bought, nice kit! It does say lifetime warranty on the box. Thank you

Might I also suggest this https://www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au/148-piece-tool-kit-with-… we had one at work, used and abused held up great, I have a kit at home though I think I have the version before this, different layout? Also I paid $100 from Bunnings so shop around.

I also paid around $100 from Bunnings for the Crescent kit. Very tough sockets indeed.

Only problem with it, is a clip broke off the case, so i now just wrap an ocky strap around it.
