    • Check out Cinemas around you. My local Event Cinemas does Cinebuzz student tickets Mon-Thurs for $7, compared to the normal $10. Better than the $8 offer on Monday's.

    Attention South Australians,

    The codes in this deal:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/266609

still work for both the Glenelg and Hindley St cinemas via the Event Cinemas website. Enjoy $10 and $8 tickets (plus booking fee).

Also both cinemas are of exceptional quality, the best currently open in Adelaide as well as far less busy.

    • I'm getting a message that a PIN is required to use the voucher? Any ideas?

As it states in the original post:

"When using the codes, it comes up as a voucher that requires a PIN but it accepts any 4 random digits."

I just type 0000 and it works. Enjoy.

        • ah, completely missed that, thanks! :D

  • been using this deal all month. seeing a lot more movies than usual

Why is Liverpool more expensive than some of the other ones? It's so bloody old and run down.

One of the many benefits of living in Newcastle is that adult cinema tickets are always this price! $9!

    • Pretty much.

I booked in for Ghost in the Shell (seems okay… ish), the "cinebuzz" ticket was $16.50, the adult/student/pensioner ticket was $14.

Some cinebuzz discounts are $9-$12 during the day when the theater is empty and $20 for gold class, vs $20/$30 during evenings/weekends. Which is kind of neat. but not everything's cheaper. I suppose it's a fun, random benefit if you save more than the $1.25 booking fee(s).

  • Thanks OP!
If only Event install recliner seats in their regular halls.

Standard tickets are almost always $8 online at Springfield QLD (excludes some peak times).
