        had exactly the same experience, with being blackmailed to drop PayPal case before they'd send replacement handset out (to replace a faulty handset).

        i feel particularly lucky I was eventually able to get a refund after 5 months, after case was incorrectly closed in their favour, and I then successfully appealed.

    Also have a look at the price hike for the lg g6! Should be priced at $1000 but since ebay are giving 20% off them they jack up the price to profit more.

    Also shopping square have proved time and time again they are a terrible company.

      It should be less than a $1000 for grey import. Telstra will be selling the G6 local version for $1008. That includes GST and 24 month warranty.

    I have mixed feeling about these guys, purchased an S7E end of last year, while the phone was working, and appears to be brand new.

    It wasn't in the sealed box. They tried to tell me it was opened by Customs, but the dodgy "seal" gave it away, and then they said, it was them who opened it to check the contents. Why would you check the contents if its a sealed box !!

    well let me share my experience, I have ordered an S7 G930F on 13th of march and still no sign of postage! Delivery is due between 23rd~28th march and it will be coming from Hongkong :(

    I neg this deal because they have cancelled orders without reason in the past, and are problematic to deal with for warranty and repair.

          Wouldn't stress too much. While I'm shocked at the REP denying affiliation with Shopping Daily, the reality is that many people I bought from on eBay were probably similar in their dealings, and had similar feedback ratings. I have bought many items from ShoppingSquare, and have been lucky enough not to have issues.

    My neg is on account of the (BS) three different business name issue. Apus/ShoppingSquare/ShoppingDailyDirect

    You can't reap the benefits if larger purchasing quantities and then wash your hands by not support one or more of your brands faults/repairs/issues/etc like you seem to be trying to.

    Have read fruitbag stories and similar stories around ozbargain community. I will give negative everytime I see deal from shoppings quare or APUS untill they solve problem for fruitbag and others.

  • Thanks for sharing fruitbag and others. I bought mine last week thinking this was Australia product and not grey import (since they said AUS Warranty).

    Based on everyone's experience, i have decided to not keep the phone and get refund. I think it might be in transit. I have raise Paypal dispute anyways since I haven't heard anything back from seller.

    Question: In worse case if I receive the phone and have to send by reply paid, has anyone used paypal-returns service as yet. I noticed paypal offers refund on the return shipping cost. I am not sure whats the catch.

      don't worry. Make sure you take photo of the package with their address on it. And a photo of the receipt. The process is easy and take a week.

        • I'd be surprised if they would take a return? The listing says shipping from HK so provided they have shipped within the stated times they are upholding their side of the contract, and you haven't been wronged by someone elses experience.

          Now catch is they asking for $33 cancelation fees.

    First time giving a neg. The lack of response from the rep is extremely disappointing. Seems like there's a huge issue and the rep just offers 1 or 2 lines of absolute crap

    I've saved my first comment on ozb until now. I think it is a fair use of my first neg for an ebay seller with terrible after-sales customer service and dispute resolution.

    Cannot stress enough! Do not buy from Shopping Square.

    Had a problem in January with my S7 Edge. Arrived faulty - their warranty process is terrible. No communication or contact at all. They don't process your warranty unless a PayPal dispute is opened. Took almost 3-4 weeks for them to finally pick up the parcel from the post office.

  • Currently having major issues getting a refund for an item and getting another item shipped. Very worried I may lose over 1k worth of goods through these guys.
