do they need to be presented when using?
No they don't, they just automatically go through at the register.
I find it strange they spend so much on colour printing them and mailing them out to members in booklet form when you don't even need to cut them out and hand them over!? Why not just print out an A4 flyer!? Anyway, each to their own I guess!?
It is strange, in the USA I had to cut them out and present them.
I thought you had to present them at the register. We bought something last week without a voucher and it was charged at the higher price.
@cacbm: I've been twice in the last week and they were handing the coupon booklet out at the door and neither time did I have to hand across a coupon.
@cacbm: I have also bought a few promotion items last week. The booklet were all over the place, they even put them in every trolley. You can all find them all over the place. They also put up signs showing the promotional prices next to the item. I think the booklet is just to tell you what's on promotion, you don't have to hand over. The cash register automatically displays the promotional price.
cacbm, some items have quantity limitation placed on them. I am not sure if it is per customer or per transaction. Or did you use the coupon within the validity date? I was going to go 2 sundays ago but realised the coupon doesn't come into effect the following Monday. So I postponed the trip to last Sunday. It's quite a drive from where I am.
Available to Costco members only, I presume?
If that being the case, it's a restricted deal as I don't know what percentage of Ozbargain readers are actually Costco members. My guess is it's not that high.yeah get over it - this comes up each time there is a costco bargain posted. This had been debated to death in other costco posts and the end result is that costco bargains are allowed on ozbargain.
I am impressed that you consider a couple of posts in the 7 Costco posts on the list re memberhip and travel access costs
as (…debated to death in other costco posts) especially since I saw no official approval of Costco posts in those posts.@carlenet: Thanks - pity that post doesn't come up when you search on "Costco" :)
@Ozem61: Yea a little issue sometimes with the search function.
BTW in someways this is a good post, it just points to the coupons, no other description, so unless you are a Costco member or interested in being one, it doesn't waste anyone's time or take up much space.
Second lot of costco coupons in 2 week. They must be trying real hard to get members who signed up a year ago to continue membership. Some of the offer also list total cost now, which is new for them!
I went for the first time this week with someone from work who is a member…
I'm not going to bother joining, there was hardly anything there that I couldn't get cheaper at Coles or Woolies when they are on the weekly specials…
They kept asking everyone at the registers whether they wanted to renew… They must be having problems meeting their sales targets…
they have been open for 12 months now, so as they sold a lot of memberships before they opened and as they opened, a lot of memberships will expire soon and be up for re-newal

Hope they continue to offer more coupons each month.
Something I think has been lacking since opening.
