6.99 was the normal price for these….Looks like someone put the wrong sticker on them. My mum got some reduced to 2.99
From memory when somethings reduced at aldi there is the original price on the receipt followed by the - $$ discount

These have been $6.99 at most every Aldi around here (Melb Eastern Suburbs) for a few weeks now.
I have a pair, they are nice soft leather and I find they fit (smaller hands) better than similar gloves from Bunnings.
