Was in Bunnings late yesterday and found these great hoses in the plant section clearing for $15 down from $40.
25 year guarantee, kink resistance rating of 8/10 and includes anti leak fittings.
There was around 8 or 9 left when I was leaving.
Even with a photo of a clearance ticket or receipt, Bunnings is unlikely to price match other stores. There are many reasons why one particular store has an item on clearance when the others don't.
Any good reasons though?👂
The policy is to pricematch with competitors. Another Bunnings location doesn't fit the description.
@fiza1981: Are you entirely sure about that? I've long had success getting bunnings to pricematch themselves you just have to be persistent and they give in (takes ~5mins), they just don't price beat it (bunnings usual price beat for competitors is 5%)
@silviodante: as I said I'm just going on policy. If you have success then that's great but it is not something that is usual for us to do.

The Bunnings 'kink resistance rating' is ridiculous.
That's a subjective comment.
That's on the manufacturer's packaging, not from Bunnings.
It's not Bunnings but Nylex who give it the 'kink resistance' rating.

As I said clearance near the plant section is where you need to look.
Most aren't anywhere near that store, but we like the price. Hence, if we can get for the same price at our local…🎯

My local bunings is $39.88 still
I bought 2 and they were absolutely terrible, kinked badly and nothing i done such as laying it out straight in the sun or storing it not coiled would help. Should of been called "Kink all Day" instead of "Kink Away".
Then as icing on the cake after less than 2 years the hoses started perishing with pin hole leaks, and you could feel the nylon was breaking down. I guess making the hose 2 colours with a seam, one being black which absorbs the heat isnt such a good idea.
If you buy one of these, keep your docket.
