OZDFI4

"The look is almost similar to the older NY0040 series but with several upgraded features, larger case, plongeur style hands, nicer 12,3,6,9 hour marker design.

As this is a 100m watch, the crown is a non-screwdown type as compared to the NY0040 series which are under Promaster series and in 200m hence are on screwdown crown."

You really are a watch nerd.

        • I know, it's a time consuming illness.

It's a shame these watches aren't 200m with a screw down crown as they look like dive watches but they are a fair way off from being one. They are also very big at 46mm. The automatic movement is nice at this price point though.

For $28.30 more you can get the Seiko SKX009K1 for $180.00 shipped.

  • There is the Citizen Eco drive divers for $195 listed last night ….It's 200m and unlike auto doesn't need service every few years.

    • +1

I have a Seiko auto and believe it or not, I've had it for about 15-20 years and it still keeps perfect time and has never needed a service.

Only thing I've ever spent on it was a new pin for the strap, awesome watch.

    • Yep, more like 10 years + for a service. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/296084 for the smaller eco-drive, this one posted is huge..

    • What automatic watch have you got that needs a service every few years?

From what I have read, a Seiko automatic should run for about 20 years or more before needing a service. Citizen are probably the same.

I posted this watch a while ago here. While more of a 'fashion diver', I think $166.69 is a good price. It has been at $189 for a long time.

  • Watch out for these guys,

I had an Orient Curator that broke within 12 months. I posted it back after talking with their support and after months and months of giving me the run around, they have just stopped replying.

    Buyer beware!
