Looks like a good price to me even after paying for import duties. Reviews are decent. Screen is matte and decent enough, but not IPS. Weight is reasonable at 2kg for a moderate gaming laptop, but its definitely not ultra-portable. User reviews are claiming 4-5 hours battery life but I guess that's under normal use than gaming. Processor is 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6500U 2.5GHz (Turbo up to 3.1GHz), Skylake, so not really the 7th generation but I personally wouldn't be too fussed.

will this be fine?
It ships to Australia fine. Just put it in your shopping cart and pay.
shame its only a dual core 6500u that a bit of a let down.
For this kind of machine its all about the graphics chipset. Small differences in CPU will be hardly noticeable.
the difference between a dual core i7 and quad core i7 is pretty big in a lot of cases.
I would still prefer something like this and use US freight-forwarding service by Auspost to get the laptop into Australia IF you don't mind blowing $1000 for an imported laptop.
I am pretty sure Xotic PC's laptop is the exact same laptop that Kong Computer sells.
definitely better to buy a local clevo
Unfortunately, this will get taxed by custom :(
