    The event is called the Hong Kong Sevens, a part of the HSBC Sevens Series.

    The package is not for seven people. I will try to make that more clear.

    Hotel (plus "surcharge" for booking during a busy event)?

    Yeah, just searched the hotel direct (i.e. not looking for a deal) and 4 nights in a "Classic Room" at that hotel is $1736 + $173 "taxes and resident" fee. $2037 + $203 taxes and resident fee including breakfast.
